Winter league reached half-way point
Riders in the 70 cm Class.
The half way point, week four of the Winter League at Deanes Equestrian Centre started out very wet but the riders turned out once again in large numbers.
In the Starter Stakes Sophie Murduff and Cliodhna Dunleavy picked up clear round rosettes. The 45cm class was a competitive class as all but two riders went clear.
The 60cms class saw Reuben Burns jump his first spread and he had a grin from ear to ear. Amy Foy from Killybegs picked up two clear round rosettes on Dusty and Rambo. Hannah McNelis from Glencolmcille and Amy McGarvey from Dungloe went clear again. Dara Beth McCloone had a lovely round on her pony Boomerang.
Jayne Robinson picked up her first double clear on her horse Trojan in the 70cm class with a lovely round. Clodagh Brady on Across the Border and Hannah McNelis on Ginger Nut both went clear with some super riding. Louise Burke on Brady Buster rattled several poles and the crowd wondered how they stayed up.
In the 80 cm class Cassandra McGee on Liath from Derrybeg picked up yet another clear round rosette for the day. Lucy Stewart on Dedo and Brenda Burke on Gibson jumped lovely rounds to claim clear round rosettes.
The 90 cms class again produced some great riding, Bridin Walsh picked up her third clear round rosette for the day on her horse Ms Tizzy Lizzy. Cyndi Graham from St. Johns Point on Buzz jumped a lovely smooth round. Mona Vial jumping on Johnny Cash also claimed a clear round rosette.
