Ulster Vocational School final now on Wednesday

The Ulster Vocational School final between Donegal and Cavan, which was postponed last Wednesday, has been re-fixed for this Wednesday, 8th January.

The game will take place at Errigal Ciaran’s grounds in Ballygawley, with a 1 p.m. throw-in. Referee is Barry Cassidy of Derry.

Donegal are the reigning Ulster and All-Ireland champions and the fixture will be the last Ulster final as the intercounty vocational game is being disbanded.

Manager Joe McKelvey will be hoping that Patrick McBrearty comes through last night’s opening Allianz National Football League game for Donegal against Down unscathed and he will also be keeping his fingers crossed that McBrearty along with the McHugh cousins stay injury free from their Ulster U-21 encounter with Dungiven, which takes place in Belfast today (Sunday) at 2 p.m .
