The Dungloe Minor Board will hold their annual family fun run/walk cycle on Sunday the 17th of February. Registration will take place in the Ionad at 12:30pm. There will be a 20k and a 40k cycle while the run/walk will be a 5k around the town. On Saturday the club held a coaching work shop in Arranmore. A very enjoyable and successful day was had on the island.
CILL CHARTHA: The club is holding a Foundation course on Friday and Saturday. Attendance is compulsory. Contact Kevin Lyons 087 8361215. The club would like to thank everyone who sold tickets,and especially everyone who bought tickets,your support is greatly appreciated.
Congratulation to Colaiste na Carraige under 16 team who are into the Ulster semi final. A joint registration night and a club gear sale will take place in the coming weeks.
There was no winner of the weekly lotto,numbers were 3, 16, 25 and 28. Consolation prizes went to Michael Molloy €50, John Mitchell €30, Sarah Byrne €20.

GLENFIN: Lotto numbers for Tuesday 5th of February were 4, 6, 7, 8, 3, 5, 1 and 2. There were no winners. Scor will be held Friday the 15th of February in Glenfinn Hall at 7:30pm. All club membership must be paid by end of April, membership is €30 and none will be accepted after this time.
NAOMH COLMCILLE: The Naomh Colmcille AGM took place on Sunday 10th February. The following officers were elected for 2013: James Dowds (President), Paul Callaghan (Chairperson), Barry McDaid (Vice-Chairperson), Alison Ferry (Secretary), TBD (Assistant Secretary), Leo Devenney, Darina Friel (Joint Treasurers), Sharon Monaghan (Registrar), Adrian Marsh (PRO). The Sam Maguire cup was a very welcome visitor to Newtown during the week, visiting the Naomh Colmcille clubhouse, local schools, pubs and businesses while it was in the area.
A dental technician will be at the clubhouse on Saturday at 11am to take moulds for mouthguards (priced £25 each).
The numbers drawn were 6, 12, 21, 13, 17. The closest match was 4 numbers and the winners were Ernie Duncan and Ryan Kincaid who won €37.50 each.
NAOMH ULTAN: Royal Flush Draw results were 1, 3, 6 and 13. There was no winner of the jackpot of €700. Consolation prizes went to Conal McGinley, Calhame, Lee and Shay Byrne, Dunkineely and Anaoise Alvey, Quarry Lane.

NA ROSSA: The club are hosting an ‘Up for the Match’ in McCready’s bar this Friday night starting at 9pm. Guest panellists on the night will include Paddy McBrearty, Brian McGroary, Declan Bonner, Pat Ward, Pat Boyle and Gerry McHugh. Tom Comack is the MC on the night. Tickets can be bought locally @10 euro.
The southern board season launch will take place this Saturday at 12 noon in the Abbey Hotel. Players representing the club to wear team jersey.
Finance committee to meet in McCreadys at 9pm on Thursday evening.
SEAN MACCUMHAILL’S: Our Senior hurlers started their Tain Club Hurling League campaign with a home game to Na Magha from Derry. New manager Don Browne decided to blood some young lads and this paid off.
After a brilliant team performance in the second half, Mac Cumhaills won 1-15 to 0-11. We are away to Lisnaskea next Saturday at 2pm. Please contact Peter Moloney for supporters bus.
On Friday Cormac Muldoone was at St Mellan’s in Monaghan where he defeated Down’s Shane Milligan in the U-17 Ulster Quarter Final.
Following their success in Beragh, Sean Mac Cumhaill players rounded up again on Saturday to travel to Gort na Mona in Belfast which saw all the underage talent in Ulster compete for their chance to reach the Ulster Semi Finals.
Anthony Gallagher again was first to the court in the U-12 Singles where this time he faced up to Cavan where he beat a Cavan opponent 2-1.
In the U-14 Singles and Doubles category, these games seemed to follow suit with each match going to a tie breaker. Christopher Gallagher competed in the U-14 singles division against Cavan also, losing by two games to one. Fintan Griffin and Jamie Bell were up next in the U-14 Doubles against Monaghan. Just like the previous match the two boys saw themselves in a tie-breaker situation where they narrowly lost out 15-14. Best of luck to Anthony Gallagher and Cormac Muldoone in the Ulster Semi-final this weekend in Kingscourt, Co Cavan.
TIR CHONAILL GAELS: TCG Youth invite you to come along and join us as we take part in this year’s London St Patricks Day Parade. Children must be accompanied/supervised by an adult.
Look out for the Tir Chonaill Gaels Mini-bus in the form up area just down from Green Park Station. Club colours (Red/White/Black) along with Green, White and Gold / County colours are the order of the day - the brighter the better. Please let your team manager know if you will be taking part.
It was not to be our day last Saturday getting beat 0-10 to 1-6 in defense of the title we won last year. Not to worry we are due to play another championship game sometime in April which will be another game just to finalise the seeding for the championship proper in June.

AODH RUADH: There was a fine crowd in attendance for the rather more informal edition of the Aodh Ruadh Annual Awards Night staged in Dorrian’s Imperial Hotel last Saturday night.
The Aodh Ruadh v Killybegs Fight Night takes place in the Great Northern Hotel, Bundoran on Friday 8th March.
The minors first league game is a trip to Killybegs on Saturday, 2nd March when they take on St John’s at 12 noon. The under 14s go into action the following day, Sunday 3rd March, when they host Four Masters in Fr Tierney Park at noon.
Best wishes to Tara Khan as she captains her college team, Sligo IT against Mary Immaculate College Limerick in an All-Ireland league final this Thursday. The game takes place in Ballyhaunis at 4pm.
Aodh Ruadh hurlers gave Antrim opponents All Saints a stiff test in their first senior match in nearly three years in the Ulster league. The sides were tied at 0-5 apiece at half time before the Antrim side edged the tie 1-10 to 0-12. They play Craobh Rua, Armagh, this Saturday in the park at 2 p.m.
GLENSWILLY: The winning numbers of last weeks loto were 8,10,12 and 23. Match 2 winner was Derek Campbell of Tullyhullion. Sellers this week are Eddie Crawford and Barry Malloy. The jackpot is now €1,860.
A very successful registration night was held last Thursday 7th of February. Thanks to all who helped out. The Scor team have been practicing hard and are looking forward to the first round of Scor in the Glenfin Gaa hall this coming Friday the 15th. Any support on the night would be greatly appreciated.
The annual Dinner Dance will take place this coming Saturday the 16th in the Station House Hotel Letterkenny. Hard luck to our U21s who were beaten by Ballinderry 1-07 to 1-10 in the Ulster Club Championship quarter finalon Sunday.
The clubs 200+ club is starting shortly. The cost is €10 per month or €100 for the year. Anyone wishing to join can contact any club officer.
There will be a one day refresher occupational first aid course in the clubhouse on Saturday 23rd February from 9.30-4.30pm. The cost is €35. Anyone interested in doing the course is asked to contact Rosaleen Doherty 087 6235023 ASAP.
Membership for Naomh Conaill 2013 is now due. A registration/membership night will take place this Friday 15th February in the clubhouse between 5.30and 6.30pm. On Tuesday 19th February in Aras Sheain Bhain Fintown between 8 and 9pm.
This Saturday Las Vegas comes to the Highlands Hotel Glenties, come along for a night on the Vegas strip. Tickets €20 which includes buffet, live music, champagne reception, disco and complimentary money for the casino. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets available from club members or pay at the door.
ST. NAUL’S: Slotto: There was no winner of this week’s jackpot. The consolation prize of €80 went to John Sheerin, Mountcharles. Next week’s jackpot will be €1,990.
Scór Sinsear: All the best of luck to all the teams competing in Scór this weekend. The competition is being held in Glenfin this Friday at 7.30 support would be greatly appreciated.
White Collar Boxing: Tickets are now on sale for the boxing night at €15 each and available from any of the boxers, club officials, The Abbey Hotel and Sheerin’s Londis. They are selling fast so don’t be disappointed as it is sure to be a great night.
