Joe Kernan has named three Donegal players in the Ulster side that take on Connacht in the M Donnelly Football Inter-provincial Championship semi-final at Markievicz Park in Sligo on Sunday (throw-in 2pm).

First-timer Neil McGee from Gaoth Dobhair has been named at full-back, while fellow All-Star, Four Masters’ Karl Lacey, will start at left-corner back, with St Eunan’s Rory Kavanagh at centre-field.

Ulster won the football title when the inter-pros were last staged in 2009, while Leinster meet Munster in the other semi-final at Parnell Park on Sunday. The football final will be played on February 26.
