The Donegal county final of Scór na nÓg took place in a packed Glenswilly GAA centre on Saturday 10th November.

This was one of the largest attendances at a Scór county final for many years and is the result of the tremendous work that has been done by the county scór committee under the guidance of Oifigeach Chultúrtha agus Teanga, Con O’Donnell.

This year a total of 23 clubs took part with 242 young people getting the opportunity to display their talent. The final was preceded by three semi finals which took place in Muff, Glenfinn and Rann na Feirste. In addition to this, two clubs, Naomh Mhuire and Muff held their own internal scór competitions.

This augers well for the future of scór in Donegal and hopefully the number of clubs taking part in Scór Sinsir will also increase.

Below is a list of the county champions in the respective categories and these young people will now represent their clubs and county in the Ulster semi final on the 7th December at 8.00pm in Glenswilly where they will compete for the right to go through to the Ulster final. This promises to be another big scór night in Donegal where our county champions will be up against the best that Fermanagh and Tyrone have to offer.
