Grandparents Day

Advertorial Feature

Grandparents Day was established in West Virginia in the 1970s to recognise the contributions that grandparents make to society every day. From helping out with homework and baby-sitting to providing financial support and full time care, grandparents are taking an ever-more active role in raising the next generation.

Brought over to the UK in 1990 by Age Concern, it is now celebrated across the country by families wishing to show their appreciation for their grandparents. Interflora the flower experts have launched a new competition in search of the nations best grandparent. In recognition of Grandparents Day on Sunday October 7th, Interflora will be giving you the chance to win a bouquet of flowers for your grandparent. Just visit the Interflora Facebook page and tell them why your grandparent is the best to be in with a chance of winning a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

You can also receive a 10% discount off an order* with Interflora until October 31st by using the promotional code grand2012 during the order process online. Browse a fantastic range of gifts, arrangements and bouquets and send your grandparents some beautiful Interflora flowers in Donegal

Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and only one offer code can be used per transaction. Discount applies to product value only and excludes overseas and gift card purchases.
