Meet every Wednesday 10am at the Green Pump in center of the village for a walk around the local area. Everyone welcome.

Heritage Group

Meets every second Thursday 8pm at the Tea Room. At present we are organising a Seamus McManus ,Ethna Carbary Heritage Weekend, October 25-27. If you would like to be involved in any way come along to the meeting.

Mountcharles Rowing Club Regatta

This Sunday, September 15, 12noon at The Big Pier. Hopes are high that the Regatta, which was postponed due to poor weather conditions, will be an outstanding success. A hard-working committee have pulled out all the stops to give everyone an event to remember. Come along and lend your support.

Computer Course

A Basic Level Computers FETAC Level 3 Major Award in Information and Communications Skills may commence this month, subject to numbers. The course is organised by the Donegal VEC/ETB Adult Education Service,a nd would run Monday and Tuesday 9.30am to 1.45pm. Naomh Naille Club Notes

Junior Strictly Come Dancing: Any boys and girls interested in taking part in the club’s Junior Strictly must have their names with Joe Brennan, tel. 087 120 2900 or Deirdre Griffin, tel. 087 565 5711 by today, Thursday, September 12. The club requires 16 children, so, if you are thinking of it at all, put your name in. This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn great dance moves, get extra exercise and be part of a tremendous show.

Eany Celtic

The club recently held their Awards Night for the 2012-2013 season in Inver Community Centre. Many thanks to all who helped in any way on the night, especially Ian Curristan, Chairman of the Donegal Schoolboys League for coming along to present the awards. Thanks also to Brian McGroary and Derry City FC for the use of the FAI Cup for the evening. The winner of seven tickets to the Ireland V Sweden match was Stephen McCahill, Ardara. Best of luck to the team and coaches for the new season. Safe journey to senior player Eddie Gallagher on his tour of duty with the UN Peacekeeping Forces.
