Championship and health screening
Aodh Ruadh go into senior and reserve intermediate championship this Saturday in Father Tierney Park. The opponents in both these quarter-final first leg encounters will be Buncrana. The reserve game throws in at 6pm and is followed by the senior game at 7.30pm. It’s a big day for the club and a good showing of home support would be a big lift to both sides.
Ballyshannon / Bundoran Primary Care Team and Community Health Forum in partnership with Aodh Ruadh invite everyone attending the championship games to avail of a free personal health screening.
The event takes place this Saturday July 6th between 5.30pm and 8.30pm in a specially erected marquee in Father Tierney Park. The screening will be performed by local HSE professionals and will only take a few minutes of your time and you will have your results immediately. Testing will take place for high blood pressure, body mass index (BMI) as well as high blood sugars for diabetes. Just to reiterate, this screening is FREE of charge and a great opportunity to check everything is in perfect working order.
This initiative is supported through Donegal Local Development Company Ltd’s, Goal One of the Local and Community Development Programme 2013. Further details on this health initiative are available on aodhruadh.org.
