Car Show: Classic Car Show and Fun day with face painting and loads of games in Mountcharles main street June 17th from 12 to 3pm approx in aid of Mountcharles Community Development Playground. Donegal Garden Society: The next garden meeting at Salthill House is scheduled for Monday June 11th when John McNamara of the famous Cork rose growing family is coming to talk on his favourite subject. Don ‘t forget a member qualifies for a 10% discount at Ashtree Garden Centre. New members always welcome.

Mountcharles whist drive: Winners included Neal Herron, Kathleen Carr, Sean Dorrian, Celine McColgan, Gerry Gildea, Tom Murphy. Draw winners included Philomena Dorrian, Bob Faulkner, Gerry Gildea and Kathleen McGroarty.

Down Syndrome Ireland: There will be a stall on the Diamond at the Farmers market from 10am on June 16th selling ice cream to raise money for Down Syndrome Ireland. Everyone is welcome and we would greatly appreciate your support.

HSE Group: The HSE South Donegal Group are going to the cabaret in the Central Hotel on Thursday, June 21st at 7pm. If you are interested contact Peggy at 97 35018 before June 14th.

Inver Community Centre

Toddler Group: Meets at Centre every Monday morning 10.30am, stop in for a cuppa coffee and chat!

Playgroup: Community Playgroup will host an open day on August 18th, more details to follow

History: Local History Group have finished after a very enjoyable day outing to Disert and surrounding areas last week. Another field trip around Inver/Mountcharles to celebrate Heritage week has been scheduled for August 25th 11am. Reservations required.

Summer Camps: Camps to suit all ages in July : Donna Kelly will host Primary School Age, Foroige will be here at end of July for Secondary School age and there will also be a Free Fun Irish Camp at the beginning of July. Call 97 36166 for more detail.

Senior Group: Group will not convene until Oct/November for fun social recreation and a hot lunch. Please call if you would like to get your name on this list – full details can be posted to your home.

Mountcharles Community Development: Classic car Show and Fun Fair on Sunday June 17th cabaret style show in the Central Hotel, Donegal Town hosting local talent on 17th August. Country markets starting up very soon and eagerly awaited by community minded people who like to shop local.

Bluestack centre: Are you a budding enthusiastic lady tennis player with your sights on Wimbledon. Now’s you’re big chance to be a star. Join Michael McDaid’s coaching sessions and take it from there. Ring the centre for more information and Rosemary will full you in.
