This Saturday night, May 12, the Parents Association of Scoil Chaitríona, College Street, Ballyshannon will run a Bealtaine Variety Show in the Abbey Centre.
It promises to be a special night with local groups and talented musicians and choirs on stage. Doors open at 8pm with show beginning at 8.30pm sharp. Tickets are €10 with concessions of €8 for OAP’s and students.
Miss Alma Kavanagh, principal of Scoil Chaitríona urges all Ballyshannon town people to come along to enjoy a feast of traditional and local talent. She said: “The show has something for everyone and will definitely be a great nights entertainment for all.
One of the organisers added: “Scoil Chaitríona is an outstanding school in the heart of the Ballyshannon community and deserves to showcase their talents this Saturday night to all. It is fabulous to see so many local past pupils supporting their old school on the night and performing on stage for their old Alma Mater.”
Acts on the night include: Ballyshannon Guitar Orchestra, John Meehan, Amanda Mahon and the Dance 4 Lyfe group, Scoil Chaitríona School Choir, Séan Boyle Irish Dancing Academy, Seamus Sweeney Traditional Group, Tríona O Neill singer, Cor Craobhaigh, Katie Clancy singer and, closing the show,, the Bel Canto Choir.
All proceeds of the show will go to Scoil Chaitríona Parents Association and your support will be most welcome on the night.
