On the 27th-29th June, Connacht GAA will host the largest Feile Peil organised since the inception of the competition. 64 U14 boy’s teams
and 28 U14 ladies football sides will host a like number from the three other provinces as well as teams from England, Scotland and the
This will make Connacht GAA Feile 2014, the largest Feile held in either hurling or football. With 736 mentors and 4416 players
participating in the Feile Peil 2014, it promises to be the largest single sporting event for any age group at any level in the country
over the year.
An estimated 10,000 family, friends and supporters will travel with the teams ensuring a busy and bountiful weekend for
businesses in 92 parishes, towns and hotels. Best of luck to the boys and girls teams from St. Molaise Gaels in Feile ‘14 June 27-29. We
will be hosting Ballymaguigan, Derry (girls) and Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan (boys) in what promises to be a weekend of fun, football and friendship!
Don’t forget Social Dance in Cliffoney Hall Friday 4th July; 10-1am. Music by Brendan and Pat Magee. Also Bingo every Saturday night in Cliffoney Hall. Jackpot 500 euro.

Congratulations to all our schools who were winners in Markievicz Par last Saturday. Carns won the two teacher school category final, last achieved in 1997 captained by Martin Melody and Joe Keaney. Grange won the double for the first time, both boys and girls, in the 8 teacher and final. Ethan Watters captained the boys and Laoise Mc Brien captained the girls. Cliffoney girls were runners up in their final captained by Ellie Mc Govern. Well done to all the schools, teachers, pupils, team managers, trainers and parents.
