Nuala’s Barn Dance will be held in Grange Hall on Friday 23rd May. Music on the night by the ever popular duo, Brendan and Pat Mc Gee. Admission 8 euro including supper. Dancing from 9.00pm

A Book Signing will take place on Saturday 7th June at Eason’s in O’Connell’s Street, Sligo between 2 and 4pm by Frank Connolly. Frank is the author of the book Tom Gilmartin - The Man who brought down a Taoiseach and Exposed the Greed and Corruption at the Heart of Irish Politics. All welcome to come and have books signed by Frank Connolly. If you have already purchased a book, then bring it along on the day.
Padre Pio Glove
Padre Pio Glove will be in St. Molaise’s Church Cliffoney Friday 6th June 7pm. The glove will then be at the home of Kathleen and Gene Sheerin, Castlegal from Saturday 7th-Wednesday 11th June inc. 10.30am-6.30pm each day. All welcome.
We thank Bishop Jones for his twenty years as Bishop as well as his years as a priest working in this parish and around Sligo, particularly in his work with Sligo Social Services. His commitment and generosity in serving people was extraordinary. We wish him every blessing and joy in his upcoming retirement.
Congratulations to the children from our four local national schools,Grange, Cliffoney, Carns and Castlegal celebrated their First Holy Communion this weekend. A sincere thank you to their teachers, Fr. Christy and their parents who have all worked together since last September preparing them for this very special day.
