Kildarragh Fair: The Kildarragh Fair Gathering takes place this year from Wednesday August 7th until Sunday August 11th. The main beneficiary this year is Donegal Mental Health.
Sympathy: The death took place in Letterkenny General Hospital of Patricia Leavy, Forquar, Milford, mother of Mrs. Marie Ferry, Kildarragh. Sympathy is extended to Marie and all her family on their bereavement.
Wedding: Holy Cross Church Dunfanaghy was the setting on Friday last for the marriage of Michelle Coyle daughter of Mrs and Mrs Michael and Sheila Coyle Purt, Dunfanaghy and Danny Langan son of Mr and Mrs Shaun and Ann Langan, Ards, Creeslough. The Bridesmaids were Aisling Arnold, Deirdre McMullan and Andrea Boyce. The Bestman was Ryan Langan and the Groomsmen were Oisin Langan and Martin Coyle. The celebrant was Fr. Martin Doohan P.P., Dunfanaghy. The Flowergirls were Elly Lainchbury and Lyra Coyle. The readers were Catriona Coyle and Cathal McLaughlin. Prayers of the Faithful were read by Liam Langan, Lee McFadden, Nora Doherty, Ann Marie Ferry and Caroline McCausland. Music was provided by Deirdre McLaughlin. The reception was held in the Silver Tassie Hotel in Letterkenny. Best wishes to Michelle and Danny for the future.
Fundraising Walk: There is a charity fundraising walk on Saturday 15th June 2013 commencing at 10am from St. Michael’s GAA club, Horn Head. This guided walk will follow the McSwyne’s Gun Loop and take in the spectacular views of Trá Mór beach and Tory Island. Registration starts at 9.30am and is €10 including lunch. All proceeds in aid of Lorna Curran’s World Challenge Charity expedition to The Maya Route (Mexico, Belize and Guatemala). Tidy Towns: A cleanup and planting evening is taking place on Thursday 13th June @ 7.00 p.m. Assemble at Corner of The Garden. Please bring your own gardening implements - brush/ spade/ etc. Its hoped that there will be a good turnout.
Walkway Creeslough to Falcarragh: A group of people from Creeslough & Falcarragh have come together to see if they can open up the old railway line as a walkway / cycle route. 10K: The St. Michael’s Under 10’s management and players would like to thank all who took part in their 10k walk around Hornhead on Bank Holiday Monday last and anyone who helped in any way.
Walking Weekend: The second annual Creeslough Walking Weekend will take place on the weekend of the 6th and the 7th July with walks taking place on both days amongst some of the most beautiful scenery in Donegal.
