SHREKed the Musical hits Donegal

The big green ogre is due to hit the audiences of Donegal Town in June 2012. Music and Drama group Mini Crotchets, as seen on TV3’s Ireland’s Top Teens, are producing this exciting musical, along with the fantastic Tir Chonaill Youth Choir.

The big green ogre is due to hit the audiences of Donegal Town in June 2012. Music and Drama group Mini Crotchets, as seen on TV3’s Ireland’s Top Teens, are producing this exciting musical, along with the fantastic Tir Chonaill Youth Choir.

Last year, the peer-led group produced the famous musical Annie in Barnes Community Centre. This year, they are taking on a new and exciting project by producing their stamp on the musical Shrek. The show promises to be a display of new and colourful musical theatre.

The crew behind this production are Séimí Campbell (Producer/ Musical Director), Orla Howells (Choreographer), Darragh Martin, Rory Williams and choir director Berni Canny.

There will be auditions on Sunday. Febriaru 26 in the St. John Bosco Centre, at 4:30pm. Whether you fancy being a leading role such as Shrek, Fiona or Donkey, a small part, or a dancing role, come along and audition. All cast must be 10+.
