This Sunday, December 17, Santa Claus will take a different mode of transport to meet the girls and boys of Mullaghmore as he will arrive onboard the Bundoran RNLI Lifeboat at Mullaghmore Pier.
Accompanied by the crew of Bundoran RNLI Lifeboat, Santa will make his way to the Pier around 2pm on Sunday afternoon and is hoping to see a lot of boys and girls there to make his welcome extra special. Speaking from his home in the North Pole, Santa said: “With just one week to go it’s important to give the reindeer and indeed the sleigh the rest it needs before they make their journey around the world on Christmas Eve. I’d like to thank the volunteer crew of Bundoran Lifeboat for letting me hop onboard this Sunday.”
Bundoran Lifeboat Deputy Launching Authority Patrick McMorrow said: “It’s our pleasure to facilitate Santa Claus’s arrival to Mullaghmore this Sunday. We know he is very safety conscious and we will kit him out in his lifejacket and get him there safely whilst taking the opportunity to remind him that Bundoran RNLI Lifeboat crew are on call 24/7 – even on Christmas Eve should there be any emergencies as he flies over the Northwest coast.”
