One of Ireland's most highly regarded fiddle players, Zoë Conway, comes to Kilcar this Saturday, accompanied by the acclaimed John McIntyre on guitar.
This special Ceol na gConallach concert at 8pm in Áislann Chill Chartha also coincides with Kilcar Fleadh.
Zoë came to prominence in Riverdance and is now a major solo artiste who also performs regularly with various other musicians and orchestras, and has three albums to her credit, the most recent with John McIntyre.
John McIntyre is no stranger to south west Donegal, he was a member of the internationally successful Kilcar based band 'The Revs' and his father is a native of Malinbeg.
Opening this week's concert are Susan Ní Cholmáin (concertina & songs), Liam Orr (accordion & melodeon) and Eoin Orr (uilleann pipes).
They won several awards at the Ulster Fleadh in Bangor, Co. Down last Sunday and will compete at the All-Ireland Fleadh.
