Plenty of thrills at the racing in Ballintra

The Ballintra Races, held at Murvagh, on Bank Holiday Monday again proved to be one of the highlights of the busiest holiday period in the calendar.

With heavy rain on Monday, the going was eased as the sun shone brightly on Monday and this was the perfect mixture for horses and punters as they thronged to one of the favourite horse and pony race meetings in the entire country.

There were plenty of thrills and spills with the Best Dressed Lady competition among the many highlights of the day.
