The main duathlon in the north west on roughly a similar course will be held at Aura on Marc h 9 with a top class field because it is a national series event under the supervision of Triathlon Ireland. For safety reasons the field will be capped at 200 so anyone interested in taking part should register on the Triathlon Ireland website as soon as possible.
Training continues on Wednesday at aura at 8pm swimming , Thursday at Aura 8pm track session and Saturday at Aura at 9:30am for a cycle session.
In the Finn Valley 5k Gavin Crawford was sixth in 16:29, Adrian O’Donnell 40th in 18:48 Paul Lee 107th in 21:00, Gavin Harris 133rd in 21:53 and Bernard McDyre 142nd in 22:09.
