There was disappointment once again for the Kilcar minors on Sunday last when their Northern Bank Ulster Minor club Tournament semi-final was postponed at the last minute.

They were due to play Lamh Dearg of Antrim at Shaws Road, Belfast, but the game was called off as they were about to depart Kilcar on Sunday morning.

There was some concern because of the condition of the roads, but after the throw-in was put back to 2.30 Kilcar were set to depart after 9 p.m. when they got a further call that the pitch at St. Paul's was not playable.

The game has now been re-fixed for Sunday next at 1.30 at the same venue.

The competition has been hit by a number of postponemenets because of

the weather with Kilcar's first round game against Armagh champions Camlough postponed a number of times before it was eventually played on New Year's Day with Kilcar winning convincingly.

The winners of next Sunday's semi-final will play Derry champions, Magherafelt in the final.
