TCG Youth Dinner Dance: A fabulous evening was held at the clubhouse on Satuday night. Thank you to all involved - the TCG Ladies for organising, to Mary Rose and her band for the music, to Mary and Pat Masterson for the fantastic meal and to the TCG Clubhouse Staff for looking after us so well on the night. This event is the highlight of the Youth Board Social Calendar and one which we look forward to repeating again in 2017.
Congratulations to Lisa Redmond (TCG Youth Secretary) and Maureen Vaughan (TCG Youth PRO) who were presented with the David and Vincent Keating Memorial Trophy as TCG Youth Club Persons of the Year on Saturday night. Both ladies have been involved with the club for many years and are honoured to have received this award.

The countdown is on to the Aodh Ruadh underage football awards presentation evening in the Abbey Centre, Ballyshannon this Saturday 3rd December at 5pm. Donegal legend Michael Murphy will be joining us as we celebrate a year of underage football in Aodh Ruadh. There will be presentations to all players in Bord na nÓg and to the ladies under 12, under 13 and under 16 teams.
The Bord na nÓg AGM took place last Wednesday in Aras Aoidh Ruaidh. Reports were read and a useful discussion about the year past took place. One of the most encouraging aspects was a determined commitment to also field teams in division 2 at younger grades to give as many players as much football as possible. It will take increased manpower to make this a reality so anyone who is able help is invited to make contact with the relevant managers. Appointments were then made for the 2017 season with the all posts being filled on the night. Letterkenny Gaels Ladies are delighted to announce their Winter Ladies Football Training program. During the winter months the Circuit based training will take place indoors at the Gaels Clubroom on the Thorn Road. The training for 16's to adult continues every Friday evening from 6.30-7.30pm. For the younger girls from 12-16 years football/Circuit training is on every Monday from 6.30pm – 7.30pm at the clubhouse.

There was no overall winner of this week’s lotto draw. The jackpot now stands at £3200. The numbers drawn were 5, 7, 8, 11, 21. The £25 winners were Smiley, Trevor Love, Geraldine Walsh, Annette Brogan. The next draw takes place in the Bay Bush Bar, Ballintra, on 5th December.
The club are running the GAA draw with a car as the star prize. Tickets are priced £10 and available from our club volunteers.
