The date for the North West derby between Sligo Rovers and Finn Harps could be changed again.
Harps are understood to be keen to try and ease their busy fixtures schedule, and the club sees the rearranged match against Sligo as one game that could be switched.
Ollie Horgan's side were in Dundalk last Monday night for the start of a hectic three weeks during which they are set to play six games over 20 days.
However, it's understood the FAI is to look at the possiblity of finding a date in October for the Sligo game. As it is, that game is fixed for Tuesday, September 27th.
This weekend, Harps face Longford Town at Finn Park on Friday night and they are at home again on Monday night, to Cork City.
The Longford game is seen as a real chance for Harps to bring an end to a terrible run of results. Their 2-0 defeat in Dundalk on Monday night was their sixth on the bounce in the league.
Harps could be forced to plan without Ruairi Keating who suffered a head injury at Oriel Park.
