Letterkenny Gaels booked their place in the Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure Championship semi-final with a big win over Convoy in Glenswilly on Saturday night.

St Marys Convoy . . . . 1-9
The Gaels had 15 points to spare in the end thanks to second half goals from Mark Hunter (2) and Conor McBrearty.
The winners only led by two points at half-time, 0-9 to 1-4, thanks to points from McBrearty, Hunter, Cormac Cannon and Nicky McGarrigle. Anthony Browne scored the Convoy goal from a penalty.
Peter Blake missed from the penalty spot on the resumption before the Gaels took a firm grip and hit 1-4 without reply.
Sean McBrearty’s charges were completely on top and they closed out the game with further goals from Hunter and McBrearty to set up a semi-final meeting with Downings.
