The senior championship ambitions of a number big hitters are on the line this weekend in the last round of group games in the Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure championship.
Only champions Naomh Conaill and the highly fancied Kilcar are almost assured of their quarter-final places. All the rest, apart from Glenfin and Killybegs are still in the hunt for a place in the last eight.
Of the big guns, Gaoth Dobhair are in the most precarious position. They face the reigning champions Naomh Conaill in Davy Brennan Park.
Bar Kilcar suffer a shock heavy defeat against Killybegs in Fintra either St Eunan’s and St Michael’s will bite the dust on Sunday afternoon. They meet at the Bridge in Dunfanaghy.
