Six teams have entered the annual soccer tournament in Dungloe, which is being held this year during the Mary from Dunloe Festival, on this Saturday, 30th July.
The tournament will once again take place on the Shorefront pitch, Church Rd, Dungloe. The six teams participating are Gweedore Celtic, Glenea Utd, St Catherine's, Killybegs (holders), Strand Rovers, Randox-Dungloe and Keadue Rovers, last year's runners-up.
The draw was conducted in Ionad Teampall Chroine, Dungloe, and was made by Roisin and Megan Browne. The two groups came out as
follows: Group A - Killybegs, Gweedore Celtic and Randox-Dungloe, and
Group B - Glenea Utd, Strand Rovers and Keadue Rovers.
The games came out as follows - 11am, Killybegs v. Gweedore Celtic; 11.30am, Glenea Utd v. Strand
Rovers; 12 noon, Killybegs v. Randox-Dungloe; 12.30pm, Glenea Utd v. Keadue Rovers; 1pm, Gweedore Celtic v. Randox-Dungloe;
1.30pm, Strand Rovers v. Keadue Rovers.
The two top teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals.
Winners in Group A will play the runners-up in Group B, and the winners of Group B will play the Group A runners-up.
