Urris . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1-8

With the sides locked on 0-11 to 1-8 and the clock ticking at Pairc Na nGael in Letterkenny, goalkeeper Graham converted Stephen Cluxton like, from 45 metres for the clinching point.

The point separated the sides at the finish of a keenly contested encounter from the from the first whistle to the last.

Urris played with a strong breeze in the first half and led by three points at half-time, 1-5 to 0-5.

After an early scare when Conor McBrearty blasted over a third minute Letterkenny Gaels penalty, they came from behind early on to be just 0-4 to 0-3 down at the end of the first quarter.

But a Paddy Doherty goal propelled the Inishowen men into a 1-3 to 0-4 lead and when Kevin McLaughlin landed two late points they were three up at the break.

While Jason Doherty increased the Urris lead out to four, with the wind in their backs and with McBrearty finding his shooting boots, the locals were soon back on level terms.

McBrearty (3) and Nicky McGarrigle scored the points to tie up the game at 0-9 to 1-6.

Aaron Bradley and Paddy Doherty and Sean McDonagh and Jason Doherty traded late points before Graham stepped up with his winner.
