Naomh Conaill too strong in second half

A dominant second half performance saw Naomh Conaill record a comprehensive victory over St. Michael's at the Bridge on Sunday last.

The first half was nip and tuck with the visitors going in at half-time leading by the minimum on a scoreline of St. Michael’s 1-5 Naomh Conaill 2-3.

The Naomh Conaill goals came from James Doherty and Brendan McDyer. Brian McLaughlin found the back of the net for the home side. Daniel McLaughlin and Ciaran Rock Gallagher and Michael Langan had points for St. Michael’s whilst Brick Molloy and Paul McGuinness pointed for the visitor.

Glenties began the second half strongly and proved much too strong for the home side scoring 16 second half points to run out comfortable winners in the end. The St. Michael’s goal came from Ciaran The Rock Gallagher.
