The reserve footballers continued their impressive league run with another win away to Naomh Muire. The seniors had a tough game and unfortunately lost.

The Ballybofey and Stranorlar Enterprise Town is on Friday. It opens at 3 pm in the Finn Valley Centre. The seniors secured a home victory over Cloughaneely in the league and the reserves got their first win of the season with their win over Cloughaneely.

The under 14 boys beat Convoy last Friday night in the Division One championship and now play away to St. Eunan’s next Friday night. The under 12’s were presented with their medals during the week after winning the Maurice McMenamin B final, they were also away at a tournament in Newry at the weekend. The under 8 girls played Buncrana last Saturday morning and emerged victorious in an exciting game.
The club’s major fundraising golf classic is taking place at Greencastle Golf Club on Saturday the 25th of June. A time sheet is now in operation and you can contact the golf club on 00353749381013 to book your tee off time.
The senior men had a great home victory over Muff. . The u12 boys and u12 girls also had a great victories over Naomh Colmcille and Muff last week.
The club will be running the annual Cul Camp the week commencing the 11th of July to the 15th. Applications can now be done online and the club will be holding a registration day on the 18th of June at the Saturday morning underage training.
Congratulations to the Hegarty sisters who both made it on the ladies team of league and were presented their awards in Croke Park last week. Ciara was awarded the centre half back position and Niamh was awarded the centre half forward position.

The u12 boys travelled to Newry on Saturday to take part in a blitz. They topped their group and played Kilcullen of Kildare in the final. They had a great team performance all round but unfortunately lost out in the end. Well done to all players, management and parents who helped out on the day for representing the club so well.

Gaelic Park hosted a very enjoyable u-8s blitz on Saturday afternoon with visiting teams from Naomh Columba and Naomh Ultan. The success of the day owes a lot the young footballers but also to their mentors, the referees Pat and Ryan Walsh, Kevin Cassidy, Mary McGowan and Cathy Daly, who organised food and the pitches and to the generosity of the parents who provided a great array of sandwiches, pancakes, tortillas and goodies.
The U10s travel to Dunkineely on Saturday to compete in a Blitz .
The U14s have now completed their league schedule and now await to see if they are placed in another competition.

Also a word of thanks to everyone who contributed and helped out with the bag packing in Supervalu last Saturday. The Reserves produced another battling display on Sunday but lost out to a late goal to Termon. The Seniors secured their second home victory in a row with an excellent team performance to defeat Termon .
The Rory Gallagher festival might have been in progress, but the big action in Ballyshannon on Saturday evening was in Father Tierney Park where Aodh Ruadh had the place rocking with a dominant performance to see off a game Naomh Ultan outfit and make it nine wins in nine games in Division Three.
The reserves made it two wins on the bounce with a good win over Naomh Ultan.
The under 12s had two good games against St Naul's last Wednesday, with 28 players used on the night. The reserve team did very well but were behind by a point at the final whistle.
The past week saw the under 14s girls topping the Southern section courtesy of a wall over against MacCumhaill's and a 2-10 to 0-4 win against Bundoran. These results see Aodh Ruadh placed in the A championship section. The under 12s entertained a strong Killybegs outfit in Fr Tierney Park last Tuesday. The first game saw Aodh Ruadh emerge 7-12 to 1-2 winners. The second game was a good, evenly fought contest. It was level at 0-9 to 3-0 at halftime, but the girls turned in a brilliant display in the second half against the wind to win 3-14 to 5-3. This was a real 25 girl performance with every player making a big contribution. Our U8s got their season underway on Saturday last with games in O Donnell Park. This Saturday Gaoth Dobhair will be hosting these boys and girls so watch out for the text with more details.
The U10s had a busy weekend with over 20 boys and girls playing games against St Eunan’s on Saturday evening at the Burn Road. On Monday our boys travelled to Ardara for what was a fantastic tournament Victories over N Mhuire (2) Kilcar and Cloughaneely earned both teams a place in the prestigious Cup semi-finals.
This week Gaoth Dobhair are due to visit the Burn Road for games, more details via text later in the week.
Our U12s played St Eunans on Wed last and both teams put in excellent performances. Our A team maintained their good form with a solid victory. The B team played really well again against the same St Eunans team. Although on the wrong end of the score line once again these boys have displayed huge improvement and these games against A teams will stand them in good stead for the rest of the season.
On Friday last our U14s took to the field in their opening NRB Div 1 Championship game minus 5 of their starting 15. The performance from this Termon team was exceptional and overall it was probably one of the most satisifing performance James and Paddy have had in their years coaching this group. This week it’s a trip to Killygordon to play Red Hughs, more details at coaching during the week. With Féile only 2 weeks away we will collect the €50 from each of the boys this Friday please. The club would like to wish Cian McMenamin good luck in the County Skills final in Killygordan on Friday night. Cian won the internal club competition a fortnight ago.

Date for your diary! This year’s 5k will take place on Tuesday, 28 June 2016 at 7.30. As anyone who has already participated knows, this is a fast course from An Craoibhín to the Burn Road, won last year by Natasha Adams. We look forward to a good evening, good weather and good participation.
U14Girls: The 'A' squad have finished up their group games and are currently top of the table, although Downings and St. Eunans each have a game in hand.
The 'B' squad’s game against Gaoth Dobhair was postponed on Monday due to the thunderstorm, will be in touch regarding the replay.
U12 girls: The u12 girls played their last group game last week. The girls played a great game to beat Glenswilly. Amongst those who stood out for Termon were Eithne Duggan, Eileen Pinder and Ella Mc Gettigan. The girls will now contest the blitz finals on July 9th, details tbc. Training continues Wednesday at 5:15 at pitch.
