Countdown on for Donegal contingent for Euro 2016

The Irish team with their strong Donegal contingent will set off for France on Wednesday on their Euro 2016 journey.

The final training sessions take place today and tomorrow at the FAI National Training Centre at Abbotstown, Dublin.

Then on Wednesday Seamus Coleman, Shay Given, Shane Duffy and the Irish squad fly to France where the first open training session takes place at their base in Versailles on Thursday.

While action in the Euros commences on Friday next, Ireland's first game takes place this day week, Monday13th, when they take on Sweden in the Stade de France, Paris, with a 5 p.m. kick-off.

Ireland's other games take place as follows - the following Saturday, 18th June (v Belgium, 2 p.m.) and the final group game against Italy on Wednesday, June 22nd at 8 p.m.
