A magnificent display from captain Niall O'Donnell helped Donegal reach the Ulster minor championship semi-final with a 2-11 to 2-7 win over Antrim in Corrigan Park.

O'Donnell hit 2-5, the two goals coming ten minutes from time when Donegal were 2-6 to 0-8 in arrears.

Shaun Paul Barrett's side had lost Eoghan McGettigan to a straight red card shortly after half-time and big midfielder, Jason McGee to a black card.

The sides were level 0-4 each at the break.

But when it mattered O'Donnell stood up and got Donegal through.

Donegal scorers - Niall O'Donnell 2-5; Peadar Mogan 0-2,1f; Jason McGee (f), Aidan McLaughlin, Kieran Gallagher, Seaghan Ferry 0-1 each.
