Letterkenny Rovers are well beaten in Aviva final

There was to be no Aviva joy for Letterkenny Rovers who were well beaten by Crumlin United in Saturday night's FAI Intermediate Cup final.

Letterkenny Rovers 0

Crumlin United 5

The Ulster Senior League side were simply outclassed by Crumlin who retained the cup in impressive style.

The Dublin side led 2-0 at half time with two goals in five minues from Gregory Moorhouse.

The striker completed his hat-trick on 89 minutes to round off a great win for Crumlin.

They'd also scored second half goals through Alan McGreal (55) and Dean Hurley (81).

It was a disappointing day for Letterkenny who, backed by several hundred supporters who had made the trip up from Donegal, just didn't perform.
