Termon picked up a second brace of league points with a seven point win over Glenswilly at the Burn Road.
Dáire McDaid opened the scoring for Termon, followed moments later by a second point from his brother Caolan. Dáire added a free shortly thereafter before Kevin Wappa McMenamin got his name on the scoresheet with a point from play.
Ten minutes into the first half Gary McFadden registered Glenswilly’s first point but the McDaid brothers added frees before Caoimhín Marley scored Glenswilly’s second.
Veteran Termon player John McCafferty made a great run from the halfway line to pop the ball over for a fisted score to reduce the margin to two to leave the half time score 0-7 to 1--2 in favour of Termon.
Glenswilly who were without Neil Gallagher and Michael Murphy lost Gary McFadden to a red card before half-time.
Dáire McDaid once again opened the scoring in the second half before Joe Gibbons and Ricky Gallagher traded points. Glenswilly added a further point as did Termon with Austin Marron scoring what would be the first of two in the second half, before Caolán McDaid split the posts following a pass in from brother Daire.
Glenswilly added a further point before Termon’s second goal came from the boot of Ricky Gallagher. Glenswilly added a final point, but it was to be Termon’s day.
