Declan Bonner and the Donegal GAA County Board are due to have their appeals against sanctions imposed by the Ulster Council following the recent Ulster U-21 champinship semi-final heard tonight (Thursday).
Declan Bonner, the Donegal U-21 manager, is appealing a 24-week ban which has been proposed by the Ulster Council after he was reported for confronting referee Barry Cassidy at the final whistle following his team's defeat by Tyrone.
The Donegal County Board are appealing a proposed €2,000 fine in relation to a nasty melee that broke out involving players from both sides at the final whistle. Tyrone were also hit with a proposed fine of €2,000. They are also appealing the severity of the fine.
The appeals are due to be heard tonight in Armagh.
