Pat Connaghan inducted into St. Eunan's Hall of Fame

Former Donegal Co Board chairman, Pat Connaghan, was inducted into the St. Eunan's Hall of Fame at their presentation night on Saturday night.

Connaghan, who now resides in Killybegs, was a prominent St. Eunan's clubman and player in his early days. He is presently still involved at Co. Board level, being one of the Donegal Ulster Council delegates.

Among the other award winners on the night were - Senior Player of the Year, Lee McMonagle; Reserve Player of the Year, Aidan Friel and Junior Player of the Year, Mark Forde.

Conor Parke picked up the U-21 Player of the Year award with Niall O'Donnell awarded the Young Player of the Year.

Conor O'Donnell was presented with the U-21 Hurler of the Year award while Catherine Fletcher was winner of the Lady Player of the Year.

Other Appreciation Awards went to Mary Maguire (Gradam Culturtha na Bliana); Michael Mulhern (Club Person of the Year) and Canon Stewart Wright and his wife Eva.

Special guest on the night was Ulster Council President, Michael Hasson.
