The U14 Boys lost out to McCools on Monday the 4th of April. Hard luck to the minor boys who lost to St Eunan’s B on Wednesday the 6th of April. Glenfin scores were Colene McGrath 0-3, Kathy Ward 0-3, Laura McKenna 0-3, Kathleen McGinty and Mary Ward 0-1 each.

The third team are starting their league campaign against St Eunan’s at home on the 16th of April.

ROBERT EMMETT’S

There was just one match 3 winner in last weeks lotto, the numbers were 2-7-14-23. Next week’s jackpot is €5100 with the bingo snowball at €4480.

The club’s annual silver circle will be drawn on April 24th and club members are selling lines throughout the club area over the next two weeks with lines costing just €10 to cover the five weeks.

MALIN

Malin continued with another victory in Division Two over Naomh Columba in the longest club match journey in Ireland.

The club had another proud moment on Sunday when Aoife McColgan made her debut in goals for Donegal senior ladies in the victory against Cavan.

There was no winner of this weeks lotto jackpot of €1500. The numbers drawn were 3-5-1-7-2-4-6. The €50 euro winner was Margaret Monagle, Letteror and the €20 seller prize went to Ronan McLaughlin, Carrowmore. Last week’s €50 winner went to Annie Duffy, Bunn. Next weeks jackpot is €1550.

The minors were beaten by Moville last week. The club would like to wish Senior player Damien Harkin a speedy recovery from his ankle fracture, we hope to see one of the mainstays of the defence back very soon.

SEAN MACCUMHAILL’S

Both senior men teams recorded comfortable wins over Killybegs on Saturday evening in MacCumhaill Park.

The senior hurlers pipped St. Eunan’s by a point on Sunday in MacCumhaill Park. Next game is an away game to Sean Traceys in Lurgan at 4.00pm.

On Sunday the Senior Ladies fielded a team for the first time in a few years, their opponents were Glenswilly away. This very young Mac Cumhaills team stepped up to the plate for the honour of representing their club at senior level. It's a steep learning curve and they were defeated 2-11 to 0-3.

There was no winner of this week's Lotto. The numbers drawn were 13, 19, 22 and 29. There were two match 3 winners: Matthew and Sarah Dowds and Pauline Lynch who each receive €75 each. This week’s jackpot is a massive €9,800 .;

BUNCRANA

The senior footballers who were beaten by Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon on Saturday evening.

The club would like to wish a speedy recovery to PJ McCarron who picked up an injury on Thursday night last.

This year will mark the fourth annual 5k run the “Rás Glas “in aid of Gaelscoil Bhun Cranncha. Ras Glas will be held on 16th April 2016 in Buncrana.

The minors beat Letterkenny Gaels in Letterkenny on a terrible windy evening on a final score was 3-19 to 1-03.

The U-14 got off to a good start against Naomh Colmcille last Wednesday night. They led 1-11 to 1-4 at half time with some great scores from Kevin Jordan and Oisin Crawford. A big well done to all the boys at the end the final the score was Buncrana 5-13 to Newtown 2-7 t

Buncrana minor hurlers maintained their good start to the league campaign with a comfortable home win against neighbours Burt.

The U14 hurlers were on a roll on Thursday night when they had another great victory over St Eunan’s. The ladies lost their first game in Division One to Glenfin.

NAOMH COLMCILLE

There was no winner of this weeks jackpot which rolls over to next weeks jackpot of €3,150. The weekly winners were Gabrielle McFarland, 2-6-11, Bernie McDaid, 6-8-11, BarryO Hagan 6-8-11. They receive €25 each.

ST MARY’S (CONVOY)

It was a disappointing evening last Saturday in Gaoth Dobhair as our seniors and reserves lost both matches.

MOVILLE

A massive congratulations to the minor boys who have beaten Malin to reach the Inishowen League final.

On Friday night the u16 lads got their first win of the season when they also beat Malin at home.

On Saturday the club was represented by two boys teams and a girls team for U8 blitz held in Carndonagh. The club also had three mixed teams for u10s blitz held in Malin. All teams played against Carn, Malin, Urris and Buncrana. The weather was beautiful and all the kids really enjoyed themselves. A massive thanks to all coaches and parents who put in a great deal of time and effort with these age groups.

On Sunday the senior ladies got their season up and running with a great win against Termon. Moville led by two points at halftime. Termon came back strong in the second half but credit to Moville they worked really hard to come out with a score line of 3-3 to 1-04. Scorers Ciara Harkin 1-0, Sinead McGuinness 1-0, Mellissa McDermott 1-0, Kathy McLaughlin 0-2, Marie Kelly 0-1.

The March 28th lotto numbers drawn were 10,16,19,21. The €50 winner was Eibhlin McLaughlin. The numbers drawn on April 4 th were 2,3,16,24 and the €50 winner was Aoife McDonald. Jackpot next week now stands at €6,100.

NAOMH PADRAIG LIFFORD)

The weekly lotto draw took place on Monday 11th April 2016. The numbers drawn were 7, 17, 23 and 29. There was no jackpot winner. A number of people matched two numbers, five people were drawn out each receiving €20. The winners were Denis Kelly, Carrickmore, Jessica Barnett, Porthall, Helena Gallagher, Argary, Billy Kelly, Gallows Lane and Michelle Houston, Lifford. Next week’s jackpot will be €1600.

The senior team suffered a disappointing loss to Naomh Padraig, Muff on Saturday.

FOUR MASTERS

The 2016 coaching academy for 4-7 year olds started last Saturday in Tír Chonaill with over 60 boys and girls (and parents) taking part in the drills and the games the astroturf was a hive of activity.

The U14 played a number of games in the last week, losing out away to Aodh Ruadh on Friday before beating Ardara at home.

The minor’s lost out to Bundoran last Wednesday night. The reserves made it two wins out of three games on Sunday with a comfortable win over Naomh Muire. Special mention goes to Daniel Martin who made his reserve debut on the day.. Goodluck to Cathal Canavan, Brian Fegan, Cian Hegarty and Jamie Crawford who start their Donegal U16 development squad year with a game away to Roscommon on Sunday.

Mr and Mrs will be held in Doms Peir 1 on Friday night at 9pm. Come along and support the club for a great nights entertainment.

The senior ladies got off to a great start winning their first league game of the season against Killybegs at home on Sunday last.

The minors played Fanad at home on Wednesday evening (April 6th) and unfortunately succumbed to a one point defeat.

The U-14s faced the challenge of a strong St.Eunan’s last Friday evening in O'Donnell park. The lads, as per usual, put in a strong performance and played tirelessly until the final whistle. They were very unfortunate to be defeated by a very narrow margin of 4-8 t 3-7.

AODH RUADH

The Reserves picked up their first win of the season at home to Buncrana with the match played at Páirc Aoidh Ruaidh, while the seniors also won.

The minors got back to winning ways last Wednesday when they defeated St Naul's on a scoreline of 1-9 to 0-11.

The under 14s levelled the score with Four Masters last Friday, running out worthy winners after an entertaining and feisty encounter with the Donegal town men in front of a large attendance in Páirc Aoidh Ruaidh.

The under 10s have their first game of the new season when Glencar Manorhamilton are the guests in Páirc Aoidh Ruaidh this Saturday. Throw in at 10am and all players to be at the park for 9.30am at the latest.

There is a child protection course being organised for the this weekend. Places are limited, so anyone interested in taking the course should let Brian Roper know as soon as possible on0876139065.

Well done to our representative on the Donegal senior ladies team, Sarah Patton and the rest of the squad who have finished top of the Ladies NFL Division Two table unbeaten.

In hurling Aodh Ruadh lost on Sunday in their Ulster Táin League Division 2B clash with Castleblayney in Monaghan on 0-14 to 0-8 scoreline..

Thursday night saw contrasting fortunes for our under 14s and minors. The under 14s were at home to near neighbours Four Masters. The lads continued their rich vein of form and were much too strong for the Donegal town lads

The minors travelled to Ballybofey and took on a strong MacCumhaill's team, we just had the bare 15, the majority of whom were under 16. Unfortunately we could not match the physicality of the Ballybofey lads

There was no winner of last week's Aodh Ruadh Lotto jackpot of €4,000. The winning numbers drawn were 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 12. In the lucky dip €20 went to Peggy Coughlin, Erne Dale Heights; Fidelma McKenna, East Port; Pat Gruddy, Assaroe View; Mark Vance, Carricknahorna; and Mickey The Coalman. KILLYBEGS

There will be a senior board meeting on Friday night at 8.30pm in club rooms Fintra.

This week's Kilotto numbers were 1,9,22,30 There was no jackpot winner. Next week’s jackpot is at €6,550. There were two match 3 winners, Aisleen McBrearty and Matthew Meehan. Each win €30.

The minors played Naomh Brid on Wednesday evening. Great play from our lads, they won well with a final score of Killybegs 3-17 Naomh Brid 1-3. Well done to Shaun Gorrell and Michael Gallagher who starred on the pitch for the Donegal under 17 development squad against Derry on Tuesday. Final score 2-18 to 3-8 to Donegal. 4 points off Michael Gallagher's boot.

The ladies travelled to Falcarragh on Sunday morning to play Cloughaneely in the first shield game of the year, and lost. Donna Byrne, Lorraine Haughey and Mairead McGuinness made their debuts.

REALT NA MARA

The U14s battled hard but lost out away to Naomh Brid/Pettigo in the league on Friday and again at home to Kilcar on Monday night.

The minors continued their good form in the league when they defeated Four Masters. The U14s have a challenge match this Tuesday in Gaelic Park against Manorhamilton.Throw in is 6.30pm.

Well done to Realt Rua ladies who played and won their first competitive match on Sunday last. They defeated Ardara on a scoreline of 3-10 to 1-7.

Congrats to Ellen O’Callaghan who was member of the Donegal U14 squad who defeated Down last weekend and to Rachel McGee who has been selected as vice captain of the Donegal U16 squad. Also well done to Paul Murphy and Cian McEniff who are members of the Donegal U17 squad who have qualified to play Monaghan in the Ulster League Semi finals

Both the seniors and reserves entertained Dungloe in the league at home on Saturday evening last. The reserves lost out going down to a goal hungry visiting outfit whilst the seniors produced an excellent team performance to gain their first league points of the year.

NAOMH COLUMBA

Both our men's teams made the long trip to Malin at the weekend and had mixed fortunes. The reserves continued their fine start to the season with a great win, which sees them top of the league. The seniors had a tough day out as they lost out to a good Malin team.

NAOMH CONAILL

Next Saturday 16th April Naomh Conaill members will be gathering in the clubhouse at 10am to clean and tidy the clubhouse and grounds of Davy Brennan memorial park. We ask anyone who has a spare hour or two to please call down and help out to clean the grounds.

The first round of this year’s championship will be held on the weekend of the 14-15th May. Naomh Conaill will play Termon at home.

Naomh Conaill Division Five (3rd team) start off the league this Saturday 16th April away against Ardara at 6pm.

ST MICHAEL’S

Both the seniors and the reserves played Glenswilly at the Bridge, on Saturday evening.

The Reserves put on a good performance to win on a scoreline of 1-9 to 0-11. The team was Dean Fleming, Patrick McFadden, Jamie Hunter, Peter Sweeney, Ruairi Friel, Paul Creamer, Daniel Doak, Paul Baird, Lorcan McDaid, John McFadden, Stephen Coyle, Dara McCarry, Keelan McGee, Raymond McLaughlin, Hugh O’Donnell.

NA ROSSA

The seniors traveled to Killygordon last Saturday evening and were unlucky not to come away with at least a point from the game as Red Hugh's won by the minimum.8.

The lotto draw took place last Monday evening in the Hall. The numbers drawn were 11,12,18 and 28. The jackpot was not won. The two lucky dips winners were Tony Cannon Farrigans and Jimmy Molloy, Toome. They won €50 each. Next weeks jackpot stands at €2700.

ST NAUL’S

The senior ladies had a great win on Sunday in Gweedore in very cold and windy conditions.

The club are hosting a first aid course Friday 15th April: 7pm to 10pm and Saturday 16th April 10am to 2pm. in Clubhouse. Please text Deirdre Furey 0868729651 to book your place. A club meeting will take place on Monday 25th April - 9pm in the Clubhouse.

GAEIL FHANADA

The lotto numbers drawn last week were: 04, 12, 14, 17, 18. Bonus 11. The jackpot was not won. The €100 winner was Paul 'Dougie' Coyle, Ballyhernan and the €50 winner was Conan Friel, Ladden and Portadown. Next week’s jackpot is €3,050.

The senior boys drew away to N Colmcille last Saturday evening. Well done to our Minor Boys who beat Cloughaneely last week playing away 3-10 to 3-9.

Comhghairdeas mór le Odhran Shiels and Eoghan Carr for being selected for Donegal minors. Odhran scored in the game against Antrim as well as featuring well on Tuesday night against Derry. RED HUGH’S

Red Hugh's U14/16 parish league began last night, Wednesday. This competition will run over the next five weeks. Players will be placed in a team. The number of teams depends on the number of players available.

The under 14s continued their rich vein of form with a nine point victory over McCools at the Cross. The lads top the table with four from four. The defence did really well with Ruairi McLaughlin controlling the high ball into the full back line with Aaron getting forward for a goal (his brother Peadar could learn from it) and James Rushey Doherty immense in the corners. The half back line of Ryan, Ruairi Campbell and Dean Harvey excellent throughout. The keeper Oran also made telling saves. The half forwards Adam and Luke Browne worked tirelessly getting back to assist defence but man of the match goes to Ryan Coyle with 4-2 from play. Full forward line of the two Caolans and Cody with a return of 1-4 and creating many other chances. Jack and Tiernan from midfield contributed 2-5.

The senior men followed on from there victory against Lifford with a tense 0:9 to 0:8 victory over Na Rossa.

NAOMH BRID

There was no overall winner in this week’s lotto draw. The jackpot is now standing at £1550. The winning numbers were 2,8,13,19,and 21. The £25 went to Joseph and Mags Griffin, P.Molloy, Tia and TJ McGroary and Peggys Leg.

LETTERKENNY GAELS

Letterkenny Gaels are pleased to announce that they will be presenting Bingo in Arena 7 every Monday night. The Jackpot is €1550. Doors from 8pm with eyes down 9 pm.

The senior footballers lost to Downings last Saturday evening and despite putting in a great second half.

Glenswilly

Child Protection Course: The club held a hugely successful child protection course in the

clubhouse this week. More than 20 members of the club signed up for the course. Anybody wishing to complete such a course should contact the club and they will be informed when and where the next course will be held.

The Ladies senior team had a good win at home on Sunday 10th. They beat Mac Cumhaills 2-11 to 0-3 points. Their next game is on 17th April against Termon.

The Under 14 game was postponed last weekend as County U14's were playing. Their next game is this Sunday against Naomh Mhuire.

The reserve team play Kilcar this Sunday at 1.30pm while the Seniors play Kilcar with a throw-in time of 3.00pm with both games in Glenswilly.

The U14 boys had an enjoyable league outing away to Buncrana on Monday night last and were unlucky to be beaten after a very close game. Their final game sees them play neighbours St Eunans next Monday.

Referees course: As there is a shortage of referees within the county, the refereed' board are hoping to hold beginners course's again in the next couple of weeks with venues and dates to be confirmed. Anyone interested in taking part in the course contact Aisling McDaid 0861612681.

The 3rd Team start their season this Saturday the 216th April at home 6.00pm against McCumhaills. Best of luck to the lads.

Lotto: The winner of last week's club lotto was Mary McDaid from Station House, Foxhall. Mary matched three numbers. The winning numbers were 2,11,21 and 23.

Naomh Adhamhnáin

The Seniors and Reserves take on neighbours Termon this Sunday in O’Donnell Park at 1:30pm (Res.) and 3pm (Seniors).

The Juniors begin their league campaign this Saturday evening away to Glenfin, throw-in at 6pm.

The Senior Hurlers lost by the narrowest of margins to MacCumhaills in the Táin league on Sunday and they take on Castleblayney this Sunday with venue and time tbc.

The Senior ladies defeated Milford in their opening 13-a-side league game on Sunday and they travel to Glenfin this Sunday.

The Minor hurlers beat the Gaels last week but their game with Aodh Ruadh BS this Tuesday night was postponed due to the wet weather. The U14 hurlers were beaten by Buncrana last week and they have no game this Thursday.

The U14 footballers Div. 1 team were beaten by a single point in Gaoth Dobhair on Monday and they travel to Fanad Gaels on Monday (18th). The Dev. Team (U13s) defeated N. Colmcille and they host neighbours Glenswilly this Monday.

The Friday Evening Hurling & Camogie Academy begins outdoors this Friday, April 15th at 6:30pm. Any new players are welcome to come along and try the games.

The Reserves and Seniors travelled to Ardara on Saturday where the Reserves lost out to a much stronger Ardara team and the Seniors recorded their first win of the year in the League. Next up is St Eunan’s on Sunday, Reserves at 1.30 and Seniors at 3 in O’Donnell Park.

On Saturday afternoon the U12 boys played their first game of the year in Ardara. Details of this weekends game will be sent in the next few days.

Our U14 boys recorded another fine victory on Monday evening at the Burn Road were Letterkenny Gaels provided the opposition.

On Sunday morning our Minor boys concluded their league campaign with a defeat in Milford. Despite leading early on Milford proved too strong in the second half and were deserving winners.

Ladies: U14 girls have training 1pm-2pm this Satuday at An Craoibhin. The Division 2 team have a game away to Killybegs on Monday, cars leaving the pitch at 4:50 pm.

The Division 1 squad are then away to St. Eunans on Tuesday, meeting at O'Donnell park at 6 pm.

Good luck to our girls on the county development squad, they have a home game in Termon on Saturday at 3 pm against Antrim
