Last week’s lotto numbers were 3-11-20-25. The jackpot was not won but three people matched 3 numbers to share the €100 prize. Next week’s jackpot is €5050 and the bingo snowball is €4460.

The club’s annual silver circle commences shortly and club members are calling on houses in the area selling lines at €10 each and we are appealing for your usual generous support.


There was no senior football at the weekend. Our next game is at home to Four Masters on Saturday.

The senior hurlers had their first home game of the Ulster Tain League and recorded a comfortable 3.14 to 1.04 win over Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon.

The minor hurlers recorded another good win away to Letterkenny Gaels last Thursday.

We'd like to remind all senior ladies that the date for our first game is the 10th of April. A lot of hard work has been going on from the younger members of the squad and we'd like as many as possible now to come out and get ready for the games.

There was no winner of this week's Lotto. The numbers drawn were 9, 12, 25 and 27. There were two match 3 winners: Leah McGhee and Helen Gallagher who both receive €75 each. This week’s jackpot is a massive €9,700.


The Lotto winning numbers for March 29th were 8-1-4-5-6-3-7-2. Francie F Marley matched 3 numbers and won €60.00 .

The minor board are running a Junior Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday the 23rd of April, in Jackson’s. Tickets are €15 for adults and €10 for children.

Our third team are starting their league campaign against St Eunan’s at home on the 16th of April.

Seniors and Reserves had no game this weekend. Both teams are away to Naomh Columba next weekend.

We were proud to see Caolan McGonagle and Bruce Waldron were part of Donegal U21 team who lost out to Tyrone in Celtic Park last Wednesday night.

This year will mark the fourth annual 5k run the “Rás Glas “in aid of Gaelscoil Bhun Cranncha. Ras Glas will be held on 16th April 2016 in Buncrana. It aims to raise much needed funds for a local school.

This weeks Lotto number wer 2, 6, 9, 18. There were no winners. Next week’s jackpot will be €1275.

The minor footballers maintained their unbeaten run in the Northern Board League with a hard earned victory over Naomh Colmcille in Newtown on Easter Sunday afternoon


There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot which rolls over to next weeks jackpot of €3,100.

Congratulations to Ballyshannon exile PJ McGee who starred at half-forward as Oisin’s CLG, Manchester swept to victory over St Peter's in the final of the Senior Pennine League at Old Bedians in Didsbury on Sunday.

Derby bragging rights went to Bundoran as their minors got the better of Aodh Ruadh in Gaelic Park last Wednesday.

The under 14s had two games over the past week. The first was played last Saturday and saw the lads go down to Four Masters. There was better news from the second though, with the Ernesiders recording a good victory over St Naul's in Mountcharles on Monday evening.

Ladies: Realt Rua played their first challenge as a team at the park on Saturday against Glencar Manorhamilton. The season gets off to a start this Sunday 10th away to Ardara.

Hurling: U-14s got their competitive season off the mark on Saturday afternoon when they drew with Four Masters at Father Tierney Park. The senior hurlers sank to a second successive loss in the Ulster Táin league Division 2B. MacCumhaill's were the victors in Ballybofey, 3-14 to 1-4 the scoreline.

The minor hurlers battled back from being well down to beat Carndonagh on Thursday evening in Father Tierney Park.

Croke Park has fixed the Tyrone v Fermanagh NHL Division 3A / 3B Promotion / Relegation play-off for Father Tierney Park this Saturday at 3.30pm. The usual key stewards are asked to report by 2pm.

Over the Easter holidays the club ran a very successful Easter camp. Well over 100 kids attended over the three days, thanks to everyone for the help and especially to the coaches who gave their time.

A huge thank you to our special guest Christy Toye who happily spoke to and signed jerseys for our little super stars in the making and presented our own Easter Camp leader Paddy Hegarty with a cake for the his big birthday last week.

A special word of thanks to Michael Cook Byrne for all his sponsorship of the camp. Hard luck to our senior ladies who lost to Naomh Muire in the Gaeltacht semi final on Sunday in the banks.

Well done to our under 14 girls team who had a great win away to Termon B on Saturday. Our minor team played away to Four Masters on Friday last and in a very exciting game both teams couldn't be separated and it ended in a draw.


St. Michael’s are at home to Glenswilly on this Saturday evening the 9th April. Good luck to the St. Michael’s players and the rest of the Donegal team and management in the Division One semi-final against Dublin in Croke Park on Sunday.

There was no Jackpot winner in the mini lotto on Sunday nigh. The numbers drawn were 3,4,7,9,12,18. There were no Match 5 winners, 48 people matched 4 and their names were drawn. The winner of the €100 was John Doak Creeslough. This weeks Jackpot be €3150.

The U14s played away to St Eunan's last Monday evening and were well beaten by a stronger St Eunan's side but the team performed well. The Parish League continues this Sunday at the Bridge from 1.30 until 3pm. We still need volunteers please for help in the tea rooms, on the gate, with refereeing and coaching .Any donations of home baking or sandwiches would be greatly appreciated.

A Safe Talk Course has been arranged to be held in the Clubhouse at the Bridge on Monday the 11th April beginning at and finishing at 10pm. This course is free of charge and it is recommended that all coaches and administrators and anyone else over 18 should attend. Refreshments will be served. Last week our under 14 boys followed on from their victory over Emmets with a well deserved 9-15 to 3-6 victory over Glenfin. The game was over as a contest after 20 minutes however the lads continued to play on.They had good performances from Ruairi McLaughlin, Ruairi Campbell, Dean Harvey in the backline. Cody Laverty dominated in midfield with Jack Bradley and Ryan Coyle excellent up front.

The seniors and reserves are playing at home to Cloughaneely this weekend. This Friday April 8th at 8pm Glenswilly GAA Club will play host to an evening of great entertainment to raise some much needed funds for Glenswilly Chapel’s Restoration Fund.

Performers on the night include local World Champion dancer Gavin Shevlin alongside his world top 10 ranked sister Niamh, renowned Donegal musicians Coirm, the Ulster Scór Sinsear finalists from Glenswilly, the Glenfin players, Maria McCormick and many many more talented local musicians and singers.

Glenswilly ladies were beaten by Fanad in Gaeltacht semi final last Friday. Table Quiz is planned for Friday 27th May in Callaghans in Churchill, with Hughie McClafferty as quizmaster.

After two good opening games in which they beat Naomh Colmcille. The U10s will have a blitz this weekend in Glenswilly where they will take on Dungloe and Ardara.

Our U12s travelled to play St Pats Donagh on Sunday winning both games. Well done to the children on their impeccable behaviour. They finished off their day in Castleblayney for Donegal Monaghan game. An enjoyable day out.

The Under 14 girls got the season off to a bright start with a good win over Buncrana in their first game. They have no game this week-end but they travel to Moville the following week-end, Sunday April the 17th.

Na Dúnaibh will host the inter- county Under 14 girls match between Antrim and Donegal which will be played on Sat. April 16, starting time is 3pm.

The Senior and Reserve footballers travel to Glenties to face N. Conaill this Saturday at 5:15pm and 6:45pm.

The Senior Hurlers were defeated by SeanTreacy’s in the Táin League Div. 2B on Sunday, they make the short trip to play MacCumhaills this Sunday.

The Senior Ladies footballers begin their 13-a-side league this Sunday morning with a home game v Milford, throw-in at 10:30am.

The Senior Board Presentation takes place this Saturday night in the Clubhouse from 8pm. Pat Connaghan will become the latest member of our Hall of Fame and our Junior men and U21 hurlers have championship medals to pick up. Tickets on the door €10.

The Minor boys footballers had a good win over Glenswilly on Saturday evening by 2-06 to 0-04 with Louis Hasson and Niall O’Donnell grabbing the goals. The Dev. Team take on Glenfin at home on Wednesday evening (6:45pm throw-in) and then MacCumhaills on Friday evening (6:45pm throw-in).

The U14 Div. 1 team had a good win over St. Michael’s on Monday and they face Cloughaneely in their next game. The Dev. Team (U13’s) travelled to Gaels on Monday and recorded a good win, they are on their travels again this Monday (11th) when they go to Naomh Colmcille.

The Minor hurlers were well beaten by Buncrana last week and they make the short trip to play Gaels this Thursday. The U14’s beat Burt last week and they travel to Buncrana this Thursday. Best wishes on a speedy recovery to Éoin Dowling who sustained a broken thumb last week.

The Century Cinemas Sunday Morning Football Academy gets underway outdoors this Sunday, April 10th at 11am. All coaches are reminded to make sure their membership is paid for 2016 to ensure they are covered by insurance. Why not bring a friend to try out our academies?

U14Girls 'A' team: The girls got off to a good start beating Milford at home on Wednesday evening. Amongst those who played well were Lauren Russell, Maeve Doherty and Ciara McElwaine.

U14Girls 'B' team: The girls lost out to Naomh Colmcille at the Burn Road on Saturday morning despite fighting hard. Latisha McGarvey was particularly impressive in goals and Orla McLaughlin and Chelsea Gorman worked hard out the field.

No games this weekend as the u14 county squads are out, good luck to all involved.

Congrats to our county under 16 development team representatives Annie McLaughlin, Lauren Gallagher, Hannah McSharry, Tiarnach McMenamin and Molly Roarty on their win over Armagh away on Saturday, and commiserations to the team members Shannon McLaughlin and Rionach as well as Manager Paddy McMenamin who lost out in their game against Armagh.
