Donegal League lose in Clare; Letterkenny Rovers denied win in Cork

There was disappointment for the Donegal League on Sunday as they lost out to the Clare District League in the semi-final of the Oscar Traynor Cup.

Brian Dorrian's side went down 3-1 in Ennis.

Meanwhile Letterkenny Rovers' hopes of qualifying for the FAI Intermediate Cup final are still alive.

They drew 1-1 at Ringmahon Rangers in Cork on Sunday. Rovers were set to claim the victory, only to concede an equaliser in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

The replay will be in two weeks in Letterkenny.

It was a very busy weekend of action. Glenea United won the Saturday League Reserve Division while there were some important games in the Sunday divisions.
