Donegal players enjoy MacLéinn Cup success

A number of Donegal footballers are celebrating Third Level Colleges MacLéinn Cup success this week.
Darragh McGee, Dunglo;, Antoin Travers, Ardara, and Eamon Carr, Fanad Gaels all played for Marino College, Dublin in Saturday’s comfortable 5-21 to 1-8 final win over the University of Ulster Magee, in Jordanstown.
Michael Friel, Naomh Colmcille, was also in the Marino squad and played at half-back in their 3-14 to 0-4 semi-final win on Friday.
Stephen Mulligan, Sean MacCumhaills, was also in the squad.
Aaron Dalton of Robert Emmetts was wing-back and Ryan Rodgers, Dungloe played full-back for Magee.
Magee booked their place in the final with a semi-final win over North West College on Friday. Magee won the semi-final 4-9 to 1-12.
St Eunan’s Lee McMonagle scored the North West College goal.
