The seniors are away to Gaoth Dobhair in preliminary round of the county Gaeltacht this week while our reserves travel to Naomh Muire the following weekend. Well done to Donegal seniors on their league victory over Cork on Sunday, Paddy McBrearty, Ryan and Eoin McHugh all featured.

Club membership for 2016 is now due and can be paid to Denise McSweeney. Forms are available in The Aislann, for download from our website or from Denise. All Adult members paid up before Mar 31st will be entered into a club draw.

Thanks to all who attended the Underage Education night in the Cinema Room in Aislann Cill Chartha last Thursday evening it was great to see such a large turnout.

NAOMH COLMCILLE

There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €2,650 which will rollover to €2,700, next week. The numbers drawn were 7,10,11,18,23. This week’s jackpot of €75 was won by Barry McDaid , Pat Hoare and the Barr family.

The club are seeking all interested parties for their "Come dine with me" on the 27th of February 2016.

ROBERT EMMETT’S

There were no winners of the jackpot in last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 2-9-12-19 and two people matched three numbers to share the €100 prize. Next week’s jackpot is a massive €4600.

MOVILLE

The club’s committee and its members would like to offer their sincere deepest condolences to Mark Farren's wife, family and friends at the very sad passing of Mark last week. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

On Sunday the club had the great honor in hosting the National League game between Donegal and Laois ladies. It was a particular special day for our own Niamh Hegarty who led Donegal out for her first home game as Donegal captain on her home turf. The club was also were represented by Ciara Hegarty, Niamh Mc Laughlin and Blathnaid McLaughlin.

Many congratulations to our ballad group who are representing the club and Donegal at the Scór Ulster semi-final in Glenullen on Saturday February 13th..

Jimmy Hegarty has been installed as the senior ladies senior manager and Sean O’ Hare has been appointed as the men’s senior manager.

Lotto numbers drawn on Monday 1st February 3, 15, 17, 20. The jackpot was not won. Aisling Harkin, Carnagarve, won €50. Next week’s Jackpot is €5,200.

Membership for the year is overdue.

NAOMH MUIRE

The club held its annual awards presentations night on Sunday, in Carey's Viking House Hotel. Neil Gallagher was the guest of honour and Neil took part in a question and answers session. Catherine Bonner made a presentation to Neil to thank him. Megan Burns made a presentation, on behalf of the Ladies team, to their manager John McGarvey.

Those who received the awards were; Ladies player of year: Megan Burns; most dedicated ladies player: Katie McDevitt; reserve player of year: Hugh McGeady; reserve young player of the year: Bryan Grant; senior player of the year: Harry Harden; senior young player of the year: Shaun Burns; the boot: Seamus Roarty; club person of the year: Catherine Bonner.

Lotto numbers drawn on February 3rd, for jackpot of €960 were 8, 15, 20, 23. There was no jackpot winner. There was one match three numbers; Joe Boyle, Loughanure. Next week’s jackpot is €1040.

BUNCRANA

The club are hold the annual presentation night on Friday February 19th in the Gateway Hotel. This will be for presentation to all our adult teams who have seen success in 2015. It promises to be a great night with live music by the Hectics and disco afterwards. Tickets are €10 and are available from Buncrana club members and players.

Lotto numbers this week were 3, 4, 9, 11. There were no winners. Next week the jackpot will be €1,075.

SEAN MACCUMHAILL’S

Well done to Martin O’Reilly who contributed with a brilliant performance coupled with another goal for Donegal against Cork, on Sunday.

The club is holding presentations for the Under-16, hurlers, footballers and Camogie players who had success last season. The presentation will take place at the clubhouse on Friday night with an 8.30pm start.

Enda Bogle has been appointed the senior ladies football manager for 2016. Don Browne, Mary Bogle, Muriel Kelly and Eimear Gillooley make up his management team.

There was no winner of this week's lotto. The numbers drawn were 8, 11, 21 and 24. There were six match three winners: Derick Lynch, John Sweeney, Shay Mc Devitt, Liam Crumlish, Leanne Bogan and Dermot O’Neill who all receive €25. This week’s jackpot is a massive €8,900.

TIR CHONAILL GAELS

TCG Youth Teams will be visiting Donegal from the 27th to 29th May 2016 (Bank Holiday Weekend). This trip is open to all U-10 and U-13 Players and interested parents should contact their child's manager to register interest and obtain further details.

The TCG Senior AGM will take place on Saturday, 20th February at 4.30pm at the clubhouse.

MALIN

There was no winner of this week’s jackpot of €1050. The numbers drawn were 6-2-3-5-1-7-0. The €50 winner was Neilly Doherty Paul and the €20 sellers prize went to Lily’s Bar, Malin Town. Next week’s jackpot is €1100.

URRIS

Match "N" Win February 4th: No jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 6, 9, 15, 18. The €15 winners were Mickey Gordon, Isle of Doagh, Paul Doherty (T), Tullagh, Megan McDaid, 30 Gaddyduff, Caroline Grant, Magheramore, Sadie McLaughlin, Tullagh. Jackpot next week is €620.

CLOUGHANEELY

NAOMH PADRAIG (LIFFORD)

The weekly lotto draw took place on Monday 8th February 2016. The numbers drawn were 3, 6, 12 and 25. There was no jackpot winner. Two players matched three numbers, both received €50. They were Philip Doherty, Lifford and Willie Doherty, Porthall. Next week’s jackpot will be €1150.

NA ROSSA

The Dungloe boxing club are hosting Limerick boxing club in a 16 man competition in the Maghery Community Centre on Sunday 21st February starting at 2pm sharp. Na Rossa have three representatives on the day, Kevin and Mark McMonagle and Pauric O’Donnell.

The seniors were drawn against Dungloe in the Junior Gaeltacht. Date to be confirmed.

The club lotto draw took place last Monday night in the hall. Numbers drawn were 1,2,19 and 21. There was no jackpot winner on the night. Two lucky dips receive €50 Imelda Doherty, Glenties and Ciaran Hanlon, Toome. Next weeks jackpot will be €2250.

FOUR MASTERS

Joe McBrearty will be in Tirconaill Park this Saturday from 2pm taking coaching session for all underage football coaches.

Shirley Doherty will be collecting membership again on Tuesday 16th of February from 8pm to 9pm

A LGFA refresher Level 2 referee course will be held on Thursday 25th February, for those that have completed Level 1 and for those refereeing in ladies football or currently refereeing in the GAA – aged 17 and over. Time and venue to be confirmed – 3 hours duration. Contact Catherine Greene, ladies secretary for booking /further details.

The Senior board monthly meeting Monday 29th February at 8.30 pm in the Abbey. The awards night will take place on Saturday the 20th of February 2016 in Dom’s Pier 1 . Tickets €25 each and are available through any club officer.

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €4,500 in week 30 of the 2015/16 season draw held in the Abbey Hotel on Monday the 8th of February. REALT NA MARA (BUNDORAN)

Club registration / membership is now due for the new season. The annual Bord na nOg presentation and registration night will take place on Friday 12th February at 7pm in the Holyrood Hotel. Medals will be presented on the night to the victorious Girls U16 and Boys U18 teams as well as the various Player of the Year Awards .

This year’s Cul Camp will take place on July 18th -July 22nd in Gaelic Park with Noel Carr once again as co-ordinator.

NAOMH COLUMBA

It's that time of the year again folks,your club membership is up for renewal. We are holding Two registration days this year. Day One is Saturday the 13th of February in the clubhouse from 3pm to 6pm. Day Two is on Saturday the 20th in the old school Carrick from 3pm to 6pm.

Paddy 'Beag' Gillespie is to be honoured by the GAA for his contributions to the association at local and national level.

He will be honoured by the president of the Gaa at a special event held in Croke Park on Friday 11th March. Comhgáirdeas to Paddy Beag it is well deserved.

ST MICHAEL’S

There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday . The numbers drawn were 4,6,7,8, 10, 16. There were five winners; 27 people matched four and their names were drawn. The winner of the €100 was Treasa McConnelly, Carnamaddy. This weeks Jackpot be €2750.

AODH RUADH

Congratulations to Rachel Patton of Rockfield National School who was recently crowned under 11 Cumann na mBunscol handball county champion. This is the first time this championship title has left the Glenfin area. Rachel is coached by Mr Byrne at Rockfield NS and heads to Belfast on Thursday 11th February to represent Donegal in the Ulster finals.

The senior team lost their opening game in the Ulster League to Glenullin, Derry at the weekend. They are away to Coalisland Fianna this Sunday.

Letterkenny Gaels

Michael Murphy Sports are currently stocking a range of Gaels Club merchandise including jerseys, training tops, hats & scarfs.

The underage football training continues every Friday night and will run for the next 5 weeks until Friday March 11th 2016.

Milford

Comortas Peile na Gaeltachta: Our Seniors will play away to the winners of Gaoth Dobhair and Kilcar in the 1st round of the Senior Gaeltacht. The fixture has been provisionally fixed for the 21st of February. Our Reserves were drawn a home tie against Gaoth Dobhair in the Junior Gaeltacht

Our Allianz LMS competition has seen huge interest with a whopping €400 to be paid out to the winner! There were a lot of cautious picks in week 1 with only a few fallers, but with Roscommons upset in Kerry seeing 40 fallers alone the field has been more than halved with only 33 entrants remaining.

Niamh Carr and Amber Barrett were two of four Donegal ladies on the NUI Maynooth panel who won in the O’COnnor for the very first time on Wednesday night. They defeated Queens University Belfast 3-12 to 1-12 with Niamh in the starting lineup while Amber was omn the bench having helped Donegal Senior Ladies to a 3-4 to 0-8 win over Westmeath on Sunday. Next up for the girls is DCU at home and then UCC away.

On Saturday morning the Club welcomed Kevin O'Riordan who is undertaking the mammoth task of kicking a point at the grounds of all 1,616 clubs in the country! Kevin, from Templemore in Tipperary, is doing this in aid of the Froebel/HOPE Partnership in Kolkata in India. Kevin began the challenge in August last year and has just under 1,300 clubs covered to date. To donate to Kevin's cause you can text Kick4Hope to 50300 to make a €4 donation.

U14 training this Saturday at 11am. Please bring boots and runners. Our first league match is Saturday, March 5.

Well done to the four schools who participated in the second round of the indoor Gaelic league, Crannogbui, Brackey, Meentinadea and Gortnacart.

In those games, Brackey won all their matches in the boys and girls sections, while there were two good victories for Gortnacart in the boys section and one victory in the girls section.

Crannogbui posted victories in three matches, two in the girls and one in the boys. Meentinadea competed very well and were unlucky in some of the matches, just losing very narrowly in a few of their games.

Next week is the final round, which will decide placings for the various finals. Those finals will take place on Thursday, February 25. Again, many thanks today to Conor Classon who refereed all the games. Great to see someone giving their time to help out. Well done!

This year our presentation dance will be a buffet dance, rather than a full sit-down three course meal on Saturday, 13th. Accordingly, tickets will be just €12.50, and €10 for students. The evening will kick off at 8.30 pm with meal, presentation and disco. With Valentine's Day on Sunday, this would be an excellent multi-purpose night out.

Lotto: Last week's draw took place in the Lagoon. There was no jackpot winner. Aodh Murray matched 3 numbers and won €80, while Kathleen Gallagher Currin and Patrick Harkin won €10 each in the open draw. This week's draw takes place in Nora's with Pauric Hilferty and Joe O'Connell co-ordinating.

Glenswilly

There was a good turnout at last weekend's club registration night. However, there will now be another chance to register on Friday week, February 19th between 7 and 9pm in the clubhouse.

Lotto: Congratulations to Seamus McMonagle from Letterkenny who won the club lotto last week. The wining numbers were 3,4,11,21.

The Ulster GAA in partnership with IFA and Ulster Rugby will host an awards ceremony on Wednesday 10th February 2016 at 6.30pm in the Wellington Park Hotel Belfast, to officially award young sports volunteers with their certificates. The following Girls from Glenswilly will receive their Goldmark Volunteers Award: Orla Mc Daid, Katie Lapsley, Roisin Conaghan, Kelly Black, Rachel Browne, Caoibhe Friel.

The club would like to wish the best of luck to our two acts who travel to Glenullin this Saturday, February 13th for the Ulster semi-final of the Scor Sinsear. All support is welcome.

The date of the Tea Night, organised by the Glenswilly GAA Ladies Board, has changed. The tea will now take place a week earlier - on Friday, March 4th in the clubhouse. But hosts and hostesses are still needed!

The bingo continues each Wednesday night in the clubhouse starting at 9pm. Patrons are advised to get along early.

LETTERKENNY GAELS

The underage football training continues every Friday night and will run for the next five weeks until Friday March 11th 2016. We will then take a break for a few weeks (over Easter) and move outside to Pairc na nGael after Easter.

U-6 training started on Friday 5th February in the Gym Hall at Woodland National School. U-8 and U-10 training resumed in the Aura Leisure Centre on Friday the 5th February.

Camogie training and the winter league for u-8 and u-10 teams continues every Friday evening at the LYIT. U-12 camogie and girls circuits will also resume on 29th.New members always welcome. Contact 086 8163505 for more details.
