Letterkenny Rovers have confirmed the appointment of Eamonn McConigley as new senior team manager.
The former Fanad United boss takes over at Rovers for a second time.
He succeeds Trevor Scanlon who stepped down at the end of last season to join Finn Harps.
Eamonn previously managed the team for five seasons between 2008 and 2012 winning the club’s second Ulster Senior League title in 2009.
He also won the Ulster Senior League Cup and the Knockalla Cup as well as overseeing a memorable 1-0 win after extra-time away to then League of Ireland club Mervue United at Terryland Park in the FAI League Cup in 2010.
Eamonn has remained a central figure in the club. He currently manages the youth team who lead the Donegal Youth League and he guided the reserve team to a First Division league and cup double last summer.
He resumes his role as senior team manager ahead of the new interim season which starts on February 8.
The team will begin pre-season training in the New Year.
