Drumkeen United can go six points clear at the top of the Ulster Senior League with a win over Derry City on Thusday evening in a fixture that has been reversed to St Patrick’s Park.

Mickey Rodgers’ team have made a fast-paced start to the season having picked up 30 points from a possible 33 this season.

Last Thursday they continued their fine form with a 4-2 win over Letterkenny Rovers.

New signings Packie Mailey and Ronan Coyle both came off the bench as Drumkeen have given themselves a huge chance of success.

Trevor Scanlon’s Rovers team will be looking to get back on track from that loss when they welcome Kildrum Tigers to Leckview Park on Sunday.

Kildrum, for their part, drew 2-2 with second from bottom Fanad last week.

That point has moved Ollie Horgan’s experimental side ahead of Bonagee United ahead of a tie against local rivals Swilly Rovers on Monday evening at Triaghalough.

In the DPD Couriers First Division, current leaders Kildrum Tigers play bottom of the table Drumkeen United, while Swilly Rovers take on Letterkenn Rovers.
