A exciting and fun filled weekend is planned for the 25th, 26th and 27th of July to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the clubs foundation. There will be games, blitzes, skills competitions, Milford’s Strongest Man, Chinese Lanterns (in aid of Living Links) and loads loads more.

The Club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the McHugh Family, Forquar, Milford, following the death of John McHugh on June 25th past. John was a well known and highly respected member of the community and the father of Senior panellists Enda and Ciaran and committee member Sean, and father-in-law of Senior team manager Nigel Black.
The U-16s get their league campaign up and running at home to Malin this Friday at 7.30pm.
The U-14 Girls will take on near neighbours Fanad Gaels away on Thursday at 6.30pm. Elverys Sports are also running a GAA camp for boys aged between 13 and 15 years of age. Michael Murphy and will also feature Leo McLoone, Paddy McBrearty, Michael Boyle and Eamonn McGee and will take place from the 24th - 28th June.

The club’s U-14s hosted Laragh from Cavan in the Feile competition and had a great weekend with friendships made.
Although the boys did not progress, they competed with teams playing at a high level and did themselves and the club proud.
Thanks to all players, parents/guardians, club members who helped to create a memorable weekend for the club.
The U-16s commenced their league game with a trip to Fanad on Wednesday evening. Best wishes to the U-14 hurlers who are off to Limerick for the all Ireland Hurling Feile this weekend.

The seniors lost their championship game against Malin at the weekend and they will have a play-off to retain their senior championship status. Both seniors and reserves have a free weekend this weekend.
The U-12 were beaten by Gaoth Dobhair, next game at home next Monday against Fanad. There will be a club meeting next Tuesday, the 9th at 8.30 pm.

Congratulations to St Naul’s ladies who won the Darren McGinley Memorial Cup, and to our own B team, who took home the memorial shield.
Well done to our reserves, who overcame Naomh Bríd in the championship play off on Sunday afternoon.
Both our seniors and reserves now go on to face Downings in the first round this weekend, with the games set for Sunday, in Páirc na Dúnaibh. The ladies suffered defeat to Gaoth Dobhair in Machaire Gathlán on Wednesday evening last. In underage pride of place this week goes to our U-14 boys, who overcame Killybegs in last Wednesday’s Championship final.
They now face either Burt or Glenswilly in the county semi-final, due to take place this Friday night in Donegal Town. The U-16 boys also enjoyed victory on Friday evening, with a win over Killybegs at Páirc na nGael.
In other underage fixtures, The U-14 girls are due to play Kilcar this Thursday evening.
The minors and U-12s are in action again on next Monday evening, July 8th. The minors are due to meet St Nauls while the U-12s are away to Naomh Ultan.
The club are launching a silver circle draw, and sellers will visit households over the coming weeks. Tickets cost €10 a week for five weeks, and the weekly prizes are as follows: €1000, €500, €200, and three prizes of €100. The first draw will take place on Tuesday, August 13th.
The seniors advanced to the quarter-finals of this year’s championship as they finished top of their group after defeating Naomh Conaill on Saturday evening. The reserves lost to Naomh Conaill.
The Senior ladies host Glenfin in the first round of the senior championship this Sunday in the Park at 12 noon.
There will be a club General Meeting this Monday night (July 8th) at 7:30 pm in the Clubhouse.
Last weekend saw a large number of Donegal teams compete in the All-Ireland Féile that was hosted by neighbouring Derry. Our U-14 boy’s team were hosted by the Loup and were very lucky to be received by such excellent hosts.
They won their first two games against the Loup and Portglenone (Antrim) before meeting the Burren in a final group game showdown. Burren went on to win the All-Ireland Division 2 crown.
The U-13 Boys hosted St. Anne’s from Dublin. The Dublin team went on to win the group before a semi-final defeat. The U-14 girls hosted West Clare Gaels and Kilkenny City.
The U-16 Boys finally get their league campaigns underway this Friday (July 5th) with the div. team at home to St. Michaels with the div. 2 team travelling to Cloughaneely. Games throw-in at 7:30pm
The minor boys take on Burt in this year’s championship preliminary round over two legs with the first game at home on Wednesday, June 10th and the second leg the following Wednesday away from home. The winners of this game will take on Termon in the first round / quarter-final of the Northern Board.
The U12’s will make the short trip to Glenswilly for Go Games next Monday evening.
The U16 hurlers will take on Setanta in the League this Thursday (4th) in O’Donnell Park at 7:30pm.
Gordon and Fergal want to thank all the players, parents and supporters of the U14 hurling panel for a fantastic year. The team won the County League B with a great win over Gaels in the final. The championship saw a great win over Burt in the quarter-final, and a loss in the semi to Buncrana, who are the team of the year in U-14 this year.
The U-12s will now play in the U-12 league, and the U-13s and U-14s are all asked to play with the U16 panel.

The club will be holding two registration nights for tickets in the club house for the Ulster final as soon as we receive ticket arrangements for the final.
St. Michael’s will host RUNEGAL 2013 which will take place on Saturday 13th July at 1 pm.
Registration at St. Michael’s Clubhouse The Bridge Hornhead Road Dunfanaghy from 10 am on the 13th. The proceeds this year are in aid of the St. Michael’s GAA Club and the Donegal Hospice.
The event will be followed by a Bar-B -Que at Molly’s Bar Dunfanaghy.

The U-12s entertained Letterkenny Gaels on Monday evening at the Bridge. The A team played first and ran out convincing winners on a scoreline of 5-2 to 2-6. Conan Brennan and Lorcan McFadden were among the players to shine. The B team played next but lost to a very strong Gaels side. Keith Stewart and Jack Hanlon were the players who never gave up and battled and chased every ball. The Under 12’s next game is away to Milford next Monday evening.

The U-16 team are away to Aodh Ruadh on Friday evening in the League. The Under 12 team had good wins in the last week against Aodh Ruadh and Bundoran and are due to play Ardara away next Monday.

The Club are hosting an U-10 Blitz on Saturday the 6th of July in Fintra beginning at 11.30am. Teams taking part are Killybegs, Ardara, Glennullin, Magherafelt, Ballinascreen, Dromore, Enniskillen and Ballina.
The Club held a very successful 5k Run / Walk on Saturday the 29th June with 118 people taking part.

Aodh Ruadh are in senior and reserve intermediate championship action this Saturday in Father Tierney Park.
Ballyshannon / Bundoran Primary Care Team and Community Health Forum in partnership with Aodh Ruadh invite everyone attending the championship games to avail of a free personal health screening.
The event takes place this Saturday July 6th between 5.30pm and 8.30pm in a specially erected marquee in Father Tierney Park.
The screening will be performed by local HSE professionals and will only take a few minutes of your time and you will have your results immediately.
Bord na nÓg are running a Guess The Ulster Final Score competition. All underage players will be given cards at this week’s training to sell. There will also be a seller’s prize for all full cards returned.
The U-12s chalked up a 4-7 to 0-9 win over Dungloe in the Fr Tierney Park on Monday evening. It was game won in a first half when Aodh Ruadh played a lot a good football and built up a healthy lead. That cushion was needed in the second half when the visitors got the bit between their teeth and carried the game to Ballyshannon, but the homesters had enough in reserve to see out the game.
In attack Tiarnan Dolan, Mark McGlynn and Eoin Doherty were all in sharp form, each contributing 1-1 to Aodh Ruadh’s final tally. Mark Gettins got in on the scoring act with a well taken goal while Harry Howarth knocked over two points.
Senan Rooney had another excellent outing in midfield and accounted for the balance of Aodh Ruadh’s points.
Defensively Aodh Ruadh had it put up to them in the second half and they held their nerve mainly thanks due to a good showing by Ryan McDonald between the posts and a rugged and impressive defensive display from Matthew McDonald and Cian Barden. The team are back in action this Saturday, 6th July when they make the trip to Naomh Muire.
Mark McGlynn was selected as the lucky man to head to Croke Park next Tuesday.
The annual U-10 Michael Shannon tournament takes place this Saturday, 6th July at 11am in Fr. Tierney Park.
Senior and junior teams from Aodh Ruadh, Grange, Glencar / Manorhamilton and Erne Gaels will be competing for the two trophies.
Pride of place this week goes to the minor hurlers who won the minor league on Thursday night defeating Buncrana in the final.
The under 12 and under 16 leagues begin this Thursday with the under 12s at home to MacCumhaill’s and the under 16s making the trip to Ballybofey to take on MacCumhaill’s.

Aodh Ruadh ladies had a hard fought challenges with their counterparts in Glencar Manorhamilton last Tuesday night.
The U-14s played their New York counterparts in a novel pairing in Fr. Tierney Park last Tuesday.
The under 12s are hosting a blitz, tomorrow, Tuesday 2nd July at 6.30pm. Bundoran, Saint Naul’s and Four Masters will be taking part in a packed evening of action. Aodh Ruadh players are asked to be at the park for 6 pm and are reminded to bring sandwiches, buns, scones, biscuits and the like to help with post match refreshments.

Four Masters’ GAA Club will be launching a new website on Thursday 11th July in Dom’s Pier 1 at 8pm.
Well done to 5/6th class girls who had their first win away to St Eunans in Letterkenny on Friday evening. The,1/2/3 year girls second level failed to overcome MacCumhaills at home on the same evening.
Both teams play their final league games at home this Friday evening - both playing Na Magha from Derry who are also bringing their U-8s to join in a blitz with Four Masters U8s and Ballyshannon U8s.
Please note there is a large build up of coats/tops/jackets in the store hut in the Club. Please feel free to come along and look for any lost items. Anything unclaimed by the end of August will be put into the Clothes bank at the front gates of the Club.

The U-14s recorded a good away win in Kilcar last Thursday and are away to St. Nauls this Thursday 4th of July.
Our G4G girls will be presented with the G4G tops at coaching on Monday evening in the Banks and plans are now at an advanced stage for our U-12s trip to play at half time in the Ulster ladies final in Derry on the 14th July.
The G4G squads are gearing up for the Croke park national day blitz on 15th of July.
The girls teams are running a Table Quiz in Caisleáin Óir on Wednesday 3rd July @ 9.30pm. We thank John Bosco, Caisleáin Óir and the regular quiz teams for the opportunity to get a few euro’s in the purse to help the girls out.

The U12’s had a comprehensive victory over Ardara on Monday night. They are away to Four Masters on Saturday 6th July at 6.30pm.

The U-16s are away to Dungloe on Friday night. In the minor championship it finished all square between Naomh Mhuire and Naomh Conaill. 2-10 each.

The Naomh Conaill senior ladies were narrowly beaten in the Darren McGinley memorial tournament last Saturday in Glen. On Sunday they had a good league victory away to Cloughaneely. Naomh Conaill 6-15 4-08 Cloughaneely.

Congratulations to John Mc Nulty and the Senior team on reaching the quarter final of the championship with a won over Bundoran at the weekend on a scoreline of 2-17 to 0-4 points. The reserve also won.
The ladies played in the Darren Mc Ginley tounrament at the weekend. They reached the semi -final s but were knocked out by neighbours Glen.
They play Glenties in the championship next Sunday morning at home. The U-12 team had a good win over Na Rossa on Wednesday last.

MacCumhaill’s Weekly Bingo is in the Villa Rose Hotel this week at 8.30pm.
Congratulations to our senior footballers who have qualified for the quarter finals of the Donegal Senior Football Championship at the weekend. The reserve footballers exited the championship on Saturday evening when they went down by two points against their Cloughaneely counterparts.
The U -14 girls put in an excellent performance when they defeated Naomh Padraig, Muff 2-7 to 1 -6. This was particularly seen in the last fifteen minutes of the first half where the Malin struck 2-3 in quick succession, to go in at the break with a lead of 2:4 to 1:4
The second half was another tight affair with Malin outscoring their opponents by 3 points to 2, to leave the final score 2-7 to 1-6 in our advantage. Malin team consisted of Aoife Mc Colgan, Tara Kelly, Eimear O’ Neill, Allanah Mc Daid, Katie Doherty, Megan Harkin, Breda Doherty, Shannon Mc Laughlin, Siobhan Farren and Ciara Mc Laughlin.
A big thank you to the U12 & U10 Girls squad that provided the half time entertainment in front of the large crowd of supporters during our championship clash v Cloughaneely on Saturday.

This year’s Cul Camp takes place from Mon 15th - Fri 19th July and a week full of fun and games is guaranteed. The camp is for boys and girls aged 7-13 commencing at 10 am each morning.

Its being a hectic few weeks for the London footballers and with last weekend’s Connaught semi-final replay win over Leitrim in Roscommon, we take this opportunity to congratulate them all after this historic victory. The club would like to congratulate all our members who play and manage London including manager Paul Coggins and his assistant Kevin Downes. All those players that have being part and are selected on the 26 man squad for the replay including Philip Butler, Brian Collins, Mark Gottsche, Caolan Doyle, Barry Mitchell, Garry Magee, Eamon McConville, Eoin O’Neill, Gavin McEvoy, Cathal Magee and Aiden McTigue.

On Sunday we play St Anthonys in the first round of the championship at Ruislip with a 3pm throw-in.
