Having reclaimed their top spot in the Ulster Senior League with a 2-0 win at Drumkeen United on Sunday, Cockhill Celtic take on defending champions Derry City.

Donal O’Brien’s side had Garbhan Friel to thank for a brace at Drumkeen United, who were left ruing the decision of referee Tommy McAree to send Christopher Kyle off inside 20 minutes.

Derry, for their part, went down to Letterkenny Rovers at Leckview Park with the only goal of the game coming from Oisin McMenamin just eight minutes from time.

Kildrum Tigers managed to retain third place with a 2-1 win against Bonagee United. Kildrum return on Wednesday at home to Drumkeen.

Meanwhile, Stephen O’Donnell gave Finn Harps joint manager Sam Hegarty the perfect send off on Monday after his decision to step down.

Manorcunningham native O’Donnell scored a hat-trick as Harps got their first win of the season - a 3-2 win over Swilly Rovers in Ramelton. Michael McHugh and Dylan Hegarty were on target for the home side.

Harps are away to Fanad United this coming Monday, while Swilly look to get back on track against Bonagee
