Four Masters Bord na nOg held their annual presentation of certificates, awards and medals on Sunday evening last in Dom’s Pier 1 for their underage football, hurling and camogie teams with over 100 children in attendance.
Guests of Honour were Cormac Goulding who was a member of the Donegal squad who won the Lory Meagher Cup in 2011 and Mayor of Donegal Town, Tom Conaghan.
The Under 8 and Under 10 footballers, hurlers and camogie players received certificates with Pauric Harvey presenting Most Improved Player and Most Committed Player awards to players from both his Under 12 & Under 13 squads from last year. The Under 14 Camogie girls were the most successful team in 2011 and they were presented then with their championship runner-up medals by Liam Mullin and their County League medals by Tom Conaghan. Joe Alvey received the Underage Hurler of the Year award with Shirley Doherty receiving a special presentation for her outstanding effort with underage hurling and camogie.
