Goals from Paudie Quinn and Rory Gaffney made sure Adam Clarke’s long range strike on his debut for the club was not enough to seal at least a share of the spoils for the Ballybofey club.

However, there were signs of encouragement for manager Peter Hutton and director of football Felix Healy ahead of Mervue United’s visit to the Twin Towns on Saturday night for the first home game of the campaign.
