St Eunan’s headed for last eight in Brock Cup

The St Eunan’s College U-15½A team will take on Abbey CBS from Newry on Friday for top spot in the group already assured of their participation in the quarter-finals of the Brock Cup.

The St Eunan’s College U-15½A team will take on Abbey CBS from Newry on Friday for top spot in the group already assured of their participation in the quarter-finals of the Brock Cup.

St Eunan’s enjoyed a 2-6 to 0-9 win over St Pius from Magherafelt on Friday at the Faughanvale GAA club grounds. Michael Millar scored a goal from a penalty, while Christopher Flanagan grabbed 1-3. There were also points from Ryan Rainey and Jason Quinn, from frees, and Cian Maloney.

A week beforehand, the Letterkenny school got off to a great start in the competition, when they defeated St Pat’s Downpatrick 6-10 to 1-1 at Donaghamoyne, Co Tyrone.
