DONEGAL LEAGUE: Back to league action after thrills and spills of FAI Junior Cup
It’s back to a busy programme of league fixtures this weekend in the Donegal League after an exciting weekend of FAI Junior Cup ties last week.

In the Brian Mc Cormick Sports Premier Division, Milford United play Glenea United at Moyle View Park. Glenea have yet to win in the league and would be hoping to do so against Milford who only have 3 points after three games.

Castlefin Celtic travel to Gweedore Celtic. The two teams are in 3rd and 4th position and a win would be crucial for either team.

Cappry Rovers host Rathmullan Celtic. Rathmullan have two wins from two and would be expected to beat a Cappry team who only have 1 win after 3 games.

Drumoghill FC play Kilmacrennan Celtic at The Moss. This is Kilmacrennan’s second game, they lost their first game to Kildrum and would be hoping for a win to get three points on the board.

Kildrum Tigers travel to St. Catherines FC. The Killybegs men have yet to lose a game and would be hoping to extend their lead at the top with another win.

Watson Hire Division One

With two wins from their opening three games, Cranford United play Donegal Town at Cranford Park.

At Central Park, Keadue Rovers face a Kerrykeel 71 FC side who havn’t had the best of starts to their season. Keadue are currently on 4 points and will be expecting to have 7 after Sunday.

Bonagee United welcome Raphoe Town to Dry Arch Park. Bonagee have yet to lose a game and will be hoping to get a win against a Raphoe team who have lost their last two games.

Convoy Arsenal play Lagan Harps at Orchard Park. Both teams lost in the cup last weekend. Lagan will be hoping to maintain their 100% record in the league and make it four wins from four.

A struggling Lifford Celtic travel to Gweedore United. Lifford have lost all three of their opening games and Gweedore are sitting in 2nd place with 7 points and haven’t lost a game yet.

CT Ball Division Two

Curragh Athletic play Eany Celtic in Killygordon. These two teams are at the bottom of the table. Eany have yet to pick up a point and Curragh only have one point after 3 games.

Deele Harps welcome Letterbarrow Celtic to Lifford Athletic Centre. Deele are sitting on 6 points and Letterbarrow have 4 and a win for either team would be important.

Whitestrand United face Glenree United who will be hoping to take maximum points against a Whitestrand side who haven’t won since the first game of the season.

Copany Rovers host in-form Ballybofey United who won last week in the cup and have only conceded one goal in the league. Ballybofey will hope to keep their 100% record with a win on Sunday.

Dunkineely Celtic travel to Ballyshannon to play Erne Wanderers. Erne have six points from 3 games and have settled well in their first season playing in the Sunday league.

All games kick off at 2pm.

Saturday League

There are only two games fixtured in the Old Orchard Saturday Division this weekend. Arranmore United travel to Drumbar FC who have lost 2 from 2 and Mulroy Celtic host Drumkeen United.

In the Glencar Inn Saturday Reserve Division Erne Wanderers play Donegal Town in Ballyshannon and top of the table Keadue Rovers travel to bottom of the table St. Catherines.

Milford United face Curragh Athletic in Milford. Drumoghill FC host Glenree United and Cappry Rovers play second place Castlefin Celtic at Cappry Park.
