Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan has said that he expects Pat McCann to rejoin the club in July.
The American midfielder announced he would be leaving Harps last month and has signed for Brenes Balompie in Seville, Spain.
“Pat is going for six months to Seville but he hopes to come back to us in July,” Horgan said on Saturday Sport on Highland Radio.
Horgan is in talks with “one or two” potential newcomers from outside the county as well as trying to re-sign some of last year’s playing squad.
The club’s U-19 squad members will also come into consideration.
“We didn’t score enough goals last season and Sean McCarron has moved on to Cliftonville.
“We wish him well but we’ve a few players, some of them that are attackers, that we’re taking a look at from the Donegal League and the Ulster Senior League.”
