Finn Harps’ preparations for the new season are continuing apace.
The latest player to re-sign for the club is defender Packie Mailey and he says he’s thrilled to be back for the new campaign.
“I really enjoyed last season and being back at Harps after taking a short break,” he said.
“I think there are a lot of positives from last year and we can build on them by keeping a strong core of last season’s squad and adding to it.”
The Convoy man will give Harps more defensive options in the new season and his signing follows that of another defender, Matthew Crossan, who rejoined the club this week.
“There is a lot of positivity at the club with the schools programme and academy going from strength to strength,” Packie added. “It’s a great time to be involved with Finn Harps as there is a professional feeling around the club.
“Ollie, James and Tommy have brought honesty and hard work to the club and they leave no stone unturned in preparation so I can’t wait for pre-season to get started.”
