It was a frustrating night for Finn Harps as they were held by bottom-of-the-table Cobh Ramblers in Ballybofey on Friday night.
Finn Harps 1 Cobh Ramblers 0
Harps have now lost just one game in nine - but this was a match they would have been expecting to win.
Cobh lost their goalkeeper, Shane Hallihan, to injury after he came off worst in a collision with Caoimhinn Bonner early in the contest. The keeper was stretchered from the pitch with a suspected broken leg. That was the only real talking point of a disappointing first half.
But thankfully Harps were much better in the second half and twice substitute keeper, Robert Birdsall denied Ciaran Coll.
Kevin McHugh also went close when his goalbound effort was deflected wide for a corner while at the other end, Harps keeper, Conor Winn, did well to save from Stephen Kenny.
Harps did their best to find a late winner but Cobh were well organised at the back and deserved the draw.
