Conrad Logan’s Leicester City were promoted to the Premier League after a combination of results in the Championship on Saturday went in their favour.
Leicester, who beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 on Friday with Ramelton native Logan the substitute goalkeeper, needed Queens Park Rangers to lose at Bournemouth and Derby to fail to win at Middlesbrough. Both fell, to respective 1-0 and 2-1 losses.
In May 2013, former Swilly Rovers netminder Logan signed a contract extension to keep him at the King Power Stadium until 2015.
He is Leicester’s longest-serving player and has spent time on loan at Stockport County, Luton Town, Bristol Rovers and Rotherham United.
